Chuck wants black boxes for trucks

From WPIX:

Sen. Chuck Schumer discusses legislation directed at tractor trailers and drivers. One solution is a black box which documents how long drivers are on the road and how fast they are going. Dan talks with a driver who voluntarily uses the black box.

The city has lax truck enforcement. Why not try enforcing the rules on the book first before making new ones?

There is no damn truck enforcement, even though laws are on the book. Take for example the trucks driving on residential street in Jamaica that are not truck routes. There are laws for this, but they are not enforced.

Just enforce that damn laws that are already on the books, instead of coming up with new shit that costs money.

This damn city does not enforce anything and that is why this city and especially Queens looks the way it does, a big fucking mess. DOB, DOT, DOS and every other city agencies do not enforce laws.

How about a black box for Chuckie and all those ever-so-ineffective state legislators? Enforce laws that are already on the books instead of looking to make money under the table for yet another crooked contract, for a change!!!

I have seen as many as 20 people living in basement apartments sharing one toilet and shower and Chuck U Schummer is worried about how long a trucker drives ? Wait until all of New Yorks illegals get drivers licenses, take over the trucking industry and then Chuck will say leave them alone, they work hard and pay tax's and vote Democrat, your DISCRIMINATING.CASH Grab and Run.

Would a "black box" record be admissible in court? If so, perhaps we CAN get some enforcement! Add GPS, and it will be possible to enforce the rules against the 53" trucks on our local streets. Follow through with a direct feed of data to law enforcement.
