You should not have helped the illegal truck on the GCP!
Irregardless of incorrect bridge height signage, trucks Do Not Belong On Parkways! You should have let him sit until NYPD got there to guide him off and issue a summons.
Also, that isn't a LIRR over pass on the GCP, but the NYC Transit Authority subway spur from the Flushing train yard.

I would have called NYPD myself.

Being a poor English speaker is no excuse. Who the hell thinks its a good idea to issue CDLs to people who cant read the damn signs????

Vehicle traffic safety and movement are just not a priority for DOT anymore. If it doesn't involve bike lanes or bike sharing or pedestrian plazas DOT doesn't care unfortunately, and will not address the problem.

Crapper...who is the guy who made the video and what's his website?

Correct, this should have been handled by the NYPD. This area is very prone to accidents and the DOT is finally working on it after someone lost their life spinning out on ice.

PS - not only is this not LIR, but this is not the Flushing yard, it is the Jamaica yard.. The Flushing yard is in Flushing.

Wouldn't "filming" on the highway be considered illegal itself as pedestrians are prohibited. Further evidence the NYPD should have handled this.
