Liu not invited to the party

From the NY Post:

The New York State Democratic Party denied embattled city Comptroller John Liu a slot to attend the 2012 convention in Charlotte, NC, this summer to nominate President Obama for re-election, The Post has learned.

The federal criminal probe of Liu’s campagn finances played a role in the decision not to name the comptroller as an at-large delegate, sources said.

“It certainly didn’t help,” said one party insider.

A Liu spokesman confirmed he was frozen out.

“John is heartbroken that he won’t be able to help renominate President Obama, but he will continue to campaign vigorously for his re-election in every way possible,” said Liu campaign spokesman George Arzt.

Gov. Cuomo had a say in who was named delegates, and who wasn’t.

It's truly astounding that anyone would have ever considered him for any event that would involve Democracy.

I think that John Liu has spent his life in love with the dictatorship in Beijing.

That's why I'll always see him as a traitor to the US as well as to the people of Taiwan

is not this a case of the "pot calling the kettle black" ?

O throws another loser "under the bus ".

The bigger the ego,
the harder they fall.

You'd better have a good parachute
on your way down, Mr. Comptroller!

This is a major blow to Tommy Huang's cousin...make no mistake about it.

Liu has just been told that he's become a pariah and that his all of his political aspirations are finished.

Johnny has become
too hot a won ton to be handled
by anyone.

Lot's of luck trying to get your old job back at Price Waterhouse Coopers, Mr. Liu.

As a former financial actuary...
what do you things the odds are?

Anon No. 3:

And wouldn't you be criticizing him if he was allowed on the bus?

Is this not being totally hypocritical?

these two dems. have something in common. they both received $5,000 to thousands of extorted money donated by NORMAN SHU, the bundler who is in federal prison doing 26 years.

No problem. Liu's going to have his own party. Where? In his mouth! Everyone's coming!!!

John Liu is married to Tommy Huang's cousin. That doesn't make him Tommy Huang's cousin - he's related through marriage. (Doesn't mean that he's not a crook, though.)

Alice Liu Huang and John Liu are said to be first cousins.

Their fathers are believed to have been brothers and partners in the Great Eastern Bank.

Why can't we in this day and age get a confirmation as to their relationship? Nobody seems to want to confront our Controller about the matter.

Put him on the spot and ask him in a public forum. It is what it is.

It is relevant.

Tommy Huang's cousin;
son of a convicted criminal;
currently under investigation for committing election fraud
(and perhaps the perp of other undiscovered crimes):

So, how did Liu
ever get to be NYC comptroller?

With YOUR votes...dumb-asses!
