Busted Liu staffer housed Chinese party boss

From the NY Post:

Comptroller John Liu’s former financial fixer is tight with the hard-line Chinese party boss who busted blind dissident Chen Guangcheng, anti-government protesters in New York alleged.

They said Liu’s ex-campaign treasurer Jia “Jenny” Hou, who’s facing federal fraud charges and is accused of lying to the FBI, played host to the official’s top deputy when his rep visited the city in January.

The boss, security czar Zhou Yongkang, is reportedly on the hot seat in China for his handling of Chen, a human-rights lawyer who escaped house arrest and sought asylum at the US Embassy in Beijing.

Chen claims on a YouTube video that is was Zhou who arrested, beat and interrogated him.

Zhou’s deputy came to the city on Jan. 21, when he and Hou presented an award to a group that’s battled the Falun Gong, a religious and resistance movement, the protesters said.

They said the deputy, Yibao Zhu, bunked with Hou’s family on Long Island in a home owned by her rich father, Jian Li “Peter” Hou.

“This official was the personal guest for two weeks at Hou’s home while in New York,” said the Falun Dafa Information Center, which represents resistance members in New York.

It sickens me when politicians of both parties preface their scathing criticisms of police and military policies with phony, insincere lip service. Stick your phony thanks up uour sorry behinds!

No surprise here.

It certainly appears that John Liu favored hard line mainland Chinese government oppression of Faulin Gong...when the 2 groups faced off in street demonstrations in Flushing...just a few years ago.

Liu refused to grant an audience with Faulin Gong members.

Could Liu really be a "Red" at heart?

Has he played a part in laundering all that overseas "Green" which wound up in the campaign chests of many political candidates?

Too bad that Liu is an American citizen.

It would be nice to see him deported to Beijing.

There's too much focus on Liu.

He's just a "small fry"
with a bean counter's role.

He was merely a financial actuary...
long before he became comptroller

Look for the "big shots"
who are pulling his strings.

It's time to subpoena
Congressman Ackerman.

Gary goes way back to when this inv-ASIAN first began.

He's, most likely, the first recipient of Chinese bribe money.

Follow the $$$$$$ !

It's a shame that John Liu has been given the gift of American rights.

I think he certainly does favor the dictatorship in Beijing over those who have not been given freedom of worship or freedom of speech.

The dictatorship forces abortions and locks dissidents up in jail, and attacks their families.

I don't think John Liu cares a whit about that and I think that makes him a traitor to both the land of his birth (Taiwan) as well as the land he grew up in, the United States

The 1950s immigrants from China are right not to trust the current regime in China. It is a pity the younger Chinese, and many American puppies of both the left and right, are so easily fooled, or is it bought?

Anon No. 6:

If he's the next Joe McCarthy, he's in a bar someplace, drinking himself to death.
