When will the eyesore be taken down?

$50,000 to tear down two stories? Not bloody likely.

I think we should get one of our great Queens Council-panderers...er, members...to introduce legislation that mandates that the City create a new Department of Deconstruction for all of the BSA decisions that actually force developers to remove stories or remediate work if they don't meet a strict deadline in removing them. Then it should follow with tax liens and ultimately seizure of the properties in question with a resale at auction if necessary.

Like election reform and and BSA reform, and Albany reform, and...

you all hope and wish and whine but dare not put the bell on the cat.

All this can be solved with just a tincture of backbone people, and wising up and working together.

Where is this?

well its sure the hell not Queens cause here you would have the community protagonist howling about it for the gullible when everyone in the know knows he is a developer himself,

or a politician ringing his hands saying the guy is a hard working immigrant with kids in school and needs the money.

This property is in Brooklyn but it could easily have been in Queens.
The laws need to be changed.
