It's Friday. We're bracing for the deluge of children who will start school in earnest come Monday. Let's have a little fun in the meantime. Go ahead and caption this photo!

Alright children, settle down!

Who would like to sit on Mr. Mets' lap and play "hard ball"?

Boys and girls, today Mr. Met would like to talk about the importance of becomming a Yankees fan at an early age.

And we'll be having another seminar for parents explaing how it's now considered a form of child abuse to raise you child a Mets fan.

Thanks for coming and arrive home safely.

Kids listen up, it's easy to be a Yankees fan, it's the same thing as being a Democrat. They have all the money so they both win all the games and all the races. But don't lose faith, be a Mets fan and vote Republican!

Mr. Met: Would you like to see how I hold my bat?

Peter Koo: I'm getting a woody!

Let me show you how to appear to hustle to First without actually doing it.

We may be the worst NY team but even WE wouldn't put the Jay Z name on the Number 4 Jersey of the Yankees. THAT honor belongs to Gehrig.

LOVE that Swisher!!! Robby Cano, ah don'tcha know... El Cap-ee-tan...Enter Sandman...Mar-ee-an-no Ri-ver-a Live from the Lowe's Broadcast Booth. Let's build something together!

Oh, I can't compete with any of these. I vote for Kelvin's caption! I hafta take issue with A Better NYC though, since I have an 8-year-old diehard Mets fan in the house! (Fortunately he doesn't really follow baseball, though, so he's spared the heartache...)

Stay in school kiddies or you'll end up LOSERS like us....

Peter Koo is pondering how he can get to "second base" with Mr. Met.

Let me see if I understand this, Councilman. You want us to trade David Wright and Jose Reyes to the Royals for who?????

If "A Better NYC" feels that teaching boys and girls the importance of being a Yankee fan...first he'd better learn how to spell the word BECOMING!! DUH!! Yankee fans are dumb. Thanks for leaving and don't let the door hit you in the ass as you exit.........

Who's got a fatter head? Mr. Met or Mr. Koo?

Koo- If I can win an election against a heavily favored party machine, surely you can win a season, too!

CM.KOO: are you related to JERRY KOOsman?

"Local school children and Mr. Met volunteered their time to teach Peter Koo how to read."
