Something strange with Bloomie

From the Village Voice:

There is something so odd about Bloomberg. He saluted the women in his life in his victory speech last night but had none of them on the stage with him. No one from his coalition of supporters or his administration was up there either. He was a one-man show with multi-racial paid extras behind him. The Sheraton ballroom was flooded with glowing young professionals and students, well dressed and glass in hand, clapping indifferently for the Man with the Checkbook as if they were on the election-day tab. It's hard to imagine that so much money so recklessly spent could have its disadvantages. But one of them is that almost everyone around you expects to be paid, and few dare to tell you what they really think. Money trumps authenticity.

That what a political campagain is all about and when you are Bloomberg you can really spread it around and provide hope for an after win job for permanency of making a living. Yup, those well dressed youngsters and racially blended folks on the stage are paid actors and do a good job.

As the artical suggests there is however no one there not on the take and thus a sad ending of a hallow victory with the fact that most folks voted for him fuming about his railroading of term limits but voted for him because there was no other viable candidate to do so.

Little late, assholes in the media.

Your silence was his trump card, not his money, or his message, or how the Democratic Machine once and for all revealed their true colors and lack of support for the regular Joe (one of the legacies you morons will face for a long time)

Now let's see which artist Emperor Bloomberg is going to select to paint his official portrait!

I a whining tone:

"Get that me that guy who painted Napoleon. You know that picture of him in his ermine robe"!

A guillotine on the steps of city hall will be erected soon for all of the emperor's critics to inspect!

The only people who put up a real fight in the history of ny were:

a. The Lenape Indians who welcomed the Dutch on the island, only to be wiped off the face of the earth in 30 years.

b. The west village against robert moses.

Other than that this city has a great reputation for rolling over and taking it like the idiots we are. This city was formed as a corporation and will continue to function as such until we all get unplugged. But IT WILL NEVER happen crappy cause the best ny could produce to go against bloomberg was thompson. What a sad fact.

Forget the Red Sox versus the Yankees. Boston owns NY, in fact, in 4 years New York will be Boston the sequel thanks to Mike. Oh yeah F' Jimmy Fallon you fake ass f#@%!

BULLSH*T It was all people who work for him, TV and newsprint people, SNL Cast Members, General Electric suits.
I know Jimmy and his dozens of cousins, they are not Bloomberg people.
Not even from the city but Upstate.
No doubt his Bosses (GE) suggested he "do it" wile hanging some of the people working on his show over his head.
Thats how the General Electric suits on the top floors of the 30 Rock executive side of the building do it at NBC ya know.
Just try and remember its all a show or commercial including the news.

The brass likley wrote Jimmy "Bloomberg likes partys & pigs in blankets monologue" short as well.
NBC (AKA GE) pulled this same crap a wile back with both Rudy G then Al Gore when I worked at NBC.
--I think thats when Cheri Oteri got the boot and they started bringing in Tina and Alec.

OK

Bloomberg is a tried and true Republican in the private sector resembling rightwing Murdoch who goes in whatever sheeps clothing suits the needs at the moment. Its NYC, not Strom Thurmond country where everyone is white so of course people are gonna call themselves Democrats.
Democrats in other states care about the working class and keeping jobs around close to people unlike here where its always been about Wall St connected con men making the most money out of low paid people. Think Wall Mart
for example.

The Village Voice has not been silent on bloomberg.

Also didnt less than 2 million people vote in this city? Folks its not like that in other cities.
