Oy-yoy-yoy. I hope he's not eating one of the squirrels that I periodically catch in my backyard with my Have-a-Heart trap and let go in Calvary Cemetery across the street from her building.

We have them in Astoria Park too. I love Redtail Hawks because they kill rats.

Yeah, I've seen one around 42nd st and 50th ave too. It was a shock at first :) Totally unexpected

I've seen kestrels with the remnants of an avian meal. That's the circle of life, folks.

Redtails eat more rats than pigeons. To kill pigeons you might want to wish for Cooper's hawks.
