Ratner caused blight in Brooklyn

From the Daily News:

A scourge of rodents, safety concerns and road closures have all cast a shadow since developer Forest City Ratner razed 28 buildings in the Brooklyn neighborhood in a now-stalled bid to build 16 skyscrapers and a basketball arena nearby.

Critics of the plan believe the weak economy, three pending lawsuits and other financial hurdles could delay the project for much longer than Ratner officials claim.
