Douglaston Parkway south of Northern Blvd has become a real teardown zone. Here is the original one-family house at 45-38 Douglaston Parkway.
Here is the replacement house, now at 241-17 Alameda Avenue. While there have been issues, at least they kept the tree. Oh, this is why. Some neighborhoods, like those zoned R1-2, are more on top of these things than others.

No aesthetic sense, this kind of delvelopemnts are ruining the beauty of Douglaston.
