You know, you take the darlings of the main line preservation folks, Marrone in Brooklyn, Kroessler in Queens, Adams in the Bronx, Zietland in City Lore et al.
Then you have someone like Kevin.
He is in a class by himself.
And you know why those folks never give him an award?
They don't have awards to cover the calibre of work he does.
He doesn't whine and pander like they do, so he is ignored.
Now if he dedicated his website to exploring immigrant communities ...
