House mouse, church mouse...school mouse?

MICE INFEST QNS. SCHOOL
By YOAV GONEN, NY Post

See mice run.

The outdoor trailers that serve as the classrooms, cafeteria and gymnasium for about 80 autistic school kids in Queens are overrun with the vermin, teachers and advocates told The Post.

Teachers at PS 255 in Woodside have had to spray ammonia at the rodents - who have left their droppings on workstations and in cabinets where lunch supplies are stored, according to the district's education council president, Jeannie Basini.

A Department of Education spokeswoman said pest management had inspected and baited the trailers three times.

I do not understand where the teachers union is with all this.

I always see Randy Whinegarden bellowing this and that on TV, but never see her complaining about the chonic lack of school desks and the impact that overdevelopment and illegal conversions have on this.

Maybe someone should ask her when the cameras are rolling.

Perhap the Board of Ed might consider serving the little kiddies
"mouse au chocolat" for desert in their school lunch programs!
