More socialists looking for free car storage. What a bunch of parasites. What has open streets go to do with bicycles? They are full of pedestrians, not bikes. Cyclists avoid them whenever possible.
The people behind this suit probably never even saw an open street. They listen to the same people as that Floridian swamp rat or any other QAnon dimwit who paint a picture of some kind of bicycle superhighway. These "open streets" are a place where families can walk around without fear of being mowed down by some maniac in a Cadillac Escalade.
If the money behind this was provided by real New Yorkers, they would provide more information about themselves besides a website with a few photos of Brooklyn.

Please give us some sanity. Closing off a street where thousands of people live and work so others can play is a sick joke the bike nazis are forcing on us all.We have a place where people can go and play, they are called parks.

The only redeeming quality of these urbanists is that some of them are attractive. Betsy Plum from Riders Alliance has nice boobs, but that's it.

I own a car. This gives me more rights than anyone else in the city. I have the right to free parking. I have the right to have roads going through every neighborhood, so I can drive my car around. I have the right to get away with murder when I mow down a pedestrian or driver. I have the right to pollute the air and ruin people's lungs, just so I can drive around. I have the right to make as much noise as I want.

All because I own a car.

Prediction: some dipshit New York commie judge throws it out for "no standing." The Left has zero concern about following the law and uses law as a weapon.

I'm with NPC_doofus on whatever he said about the law.

The street cafe idea can't work in NYC weather. We are not Paris. Tokyo has all their eateries and even the bulk of pedestrian traffic in underground concourses, rightfully leaving the uncongested streets to automobiles.

"I own a car. This gives me more rights than anyone else in the city."

B.S. what owning a car does give you is more responsibility and accountability than the anarchist shitheads using micromobility device throughout the city. They have absolutely NO responsibility. No statistics are available for crashes caused by untrained, unlicensed ,uninsured uncaring bicyclists, because they're not registered, inspected, or insured. If a bicyclist hits a pedestrian or another user of the road, they generally just peddle away and blame the pedestrian. Sheesh, figure it out legislators willya?!

I am wondering what all the anti car folks are going to do when they have to take the kids and their dog on a trip or take their old parents to the doctor. Going to be hard to fit them all on a bike,a car is far more practiible

Where is all the free car storage people are talking about ?
In NY I have car sales tax, gas taxes, insurance & registration fees, toll taxes, repair taxes, MTA phone taxes and maintenance taxes , etc.

Yeah, when you own a car, you deserve more rights and privileges than the Sheeple.

Two legs good. Four wheels better!
