Suzuki horror homes still vacant

Here's another Sam Suzuki property in Flushing.

The courtyard to the old "Bowne Tree" apartments was filled in with this horror.

It's remained vacant for about a decade (now sporting broken windows) unable to obtain a valid certificate of occupancy because it violates NYC's fire code.

Note:
Suzuki is on public record for having contributed to John Liu's campaign.

Nice company you keep Mr. Comptroller Liu!

Why aren't they demolished yet? If the Bowne Tree has a fire, they will block the FDNY's access.

What is the address please?

Wasn't it John Liu who pushed for NYC (instead of the federal government) taking over Bowne House?

YEP!

Maybe the city (Under Liu's urging) will chop about 10 feet off Bowne House's front lawn to sell to his good friend Sam Suzuki....enough land to add to his crappy slum so it will no longer violates the fire code and can get a certificate of occupancy.

After all...isn't Liu Tommy Huang's cousin?

The "yellow peril" strikes once again in Floo-shing!

Asked Gene Kelty why they haven't been demolished it yet.

He's a fireman and chair of CB#7!

Yes #2....the residents will burn....then the older apartments can be demolished and Suzuki can build more.

After all....this is Frushing.

"Forget it Jake, it's Chinatown".

Nobody cares.

Do you think Councilman Peter Koo does?

He'll look the other way rather than go after another fellow Asian.

Face it....Flushing is now a completed Asian colony.

It's best to build a "great wall" around it to seal it off.

Maybe such a "picturesque" attraction might encourage the elusive tourism that borough hall keeps on pushing for.

I found the address: 143-17 38th Avenue and Angelo R. Costa is the Architect and he did not have FDNY approval.

On his 39-39 223rd Street (Huang) Project Angelo R. Costa does not have FDNY approval here either. 8years in the running and the development is Queenscrap, vacant and without certificates of occupancies.

By the way, the "controlled inspections" and "borings tests" were not done on either project. Unrequired items they are open items which were due prior to permits being issued. They still have not been certified to date on either project. They are needed prior to permits being issued. Very important stuff by the way. Not to Costa though. He is not going to buy or live in those "unsafe" and "illegal" houses. Costa is Queenscrap.

Huang won at the BSA to get his lapsed permits back in July 2010 NO PERMITS YET!

What does that tell you, Costa needs to have his license taken away! Why has the DOB not even disciplined him yet for either Fiasco. They know about both projects. Listen, they have been headaches to the DOB also. Perhaps, they are protecting their own. Somebody on the inside has been looking the other way, obviously.

FDNY Approval needs to be in place prior to any permits being issued.

Demolish the buildings, they are useless, eyesores and presumably they present some dangers to the neighborhood!

DOB DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER TO DO THAT. THERE IS NO LAW THAT WOULD ALLOW THAT TO BE DONE. HOW CONVENIENT IS THAT. WRITE ONE MORONS!

WHAT IS EUGENE CORCORAN THE NEW ENFORCEMENT DEPUTY COMMISSIONER DOING ANYWAY? Well, let's see what he does about this stuff.

FDNY Captain Kelty lives in Whitestone...far away from it all.

And CB#7's land mis-use chair Chuck Apelian lives in his secluded little enclave with Comptroller Liu.

They'll both remain silent lest they lose their positions on (LOL) the community board.

Maybe Costa is hooked up with "the mob"....eh?

There are a whole different set of rules that apply to Flushing.

Gary Ackerman & Co. never wanted to do anything that might "offend the Asians".

In the backrooms of government you can often hear his kind express their open dislike for Asian lawbreaking...but they love Asian (particularly Taiwanese) campaign contribution money far too much to do anything to put a stop to it.

The other dirty little secret is they prefer Asians to people of color.

If the Asians left Flushing...it might become Black!

Trust me...this was the racist motivated plan for the downtown area that a lot of clubhouse pols signed onto in the early 1980s!

Julia Harrison seemed to be one of the few that spoke out AND TOOK ACTION against Asian criminals like Tommy Huang.

As a reward...she got branded "anti-Asian" in the press and hunted down by the Queens clubhouse pols.

May they all toast in hell!

Pass the butter for Claire Shulman.

If that lazy shady CB#7 had any "balls" they'd be demanding that these Suzuki horrors be demolished.

But we all know that the board is "all show and no blow"!

The city would actually save a bundle of cash if they eliminated ALL community boards.

They're just a placebo to lull the voters into thinking they actually have a say in governmental affairs.

WELL, THEY DON'T!

CB#7 should be singled out to receive a special award for selling out Flushing.

The proof of it is in the the appearance of the downtown hub.

IT ALL HAPPENED UNDER THEIR WATCH!

Any time I attend a CB#7 meeting, I have to pop an "Antivert" to keep their dizzying antics from getting me nauseous.

What the hell does Bitterman do for her $85,000...get free lunches from Wellington Chen or discounted travel arrangements from an important Asian political contributor?
