Who wouldn't want to stay here?

Here you go. An illegally converted basement in Flushing operating as an illegal hotel. And why not? I'm sure the neighbors won't mind... Click photo to see large version.

There isn't anything that isn't for sale in Flushang!

Notice the attitude and cash-only requirement.

Now that we know his address, this is a perfect opportunity for a protest.

Everyone can joke all they want about these illegal dwellings, but they are sucking up electricity, which is why we have blackouts, using up parking spots, and most of all they are death traps! When will something be done?

Well, the city knows where to find them. Let's see them do something about it.

There's another one at the corner of 164th and 29th Avenue. Asians come and go with luggage several nights a week. No one could possibly have that many relatives. This, coupled with Marino's customers, has made it virtually impossible to find parking in the neighborhood. Oh yes, the house is allegedly owned by the Marinos. They don't miss a trick when it comes to squeezing a penny out of Flushing - just ask their employees - not very happy people.

Geez.. this is nothing guys.. don't feel resentful about others making more money from using their brains.

If you really want to complain, flushing is not the place... try 8th avenue in brooklyn's chinatown.

Why don't you go protest on 8th avenue between 64th and 44th street in Brooklyn. Those residental area are even worst than flushing. You have over 5 unrelated people each with rooms rented out for 500 bucks each.

Very sure bet that almost every freaking property there have something like this going on. So if you really want to clean up, then you go there!

Otherwise shut up.

Please, it's certainly not limited to Flushing. Check out 73rd from 52nd Court all the way up to Grand Avenue and 52nd Court, Drive and Avenues between 73rd and 74th Streets.

Yeah, but we'd like to clean up our own backyards first before it gets to be as bad as Brooklyn. The Brooklyn residents should clean up Brooklyn.
