City to hold foreign coin auction

The city is looking to turn in its spare change for some hard cash.

The New York Post is reporting that the city is auctioning off more than 280 pounds of foreign coins it has collected from parking meters over the past year.

Buyers have until Friday to put in a bid. The winner will be named next week.
