Whitestone arsonist going away for a long time

From NY1:

A Queens man was sentenced to up to 14 years behind bars Wednesday for setting fire to a diner.

The Queens District Attorney says Michael Trantel, 42, pleaded guilty last month to third degree arson.

The November fire severely damaged the Lollipops Diner and neighboring stores in Whitestone.

Prosecutors say Trantel broke into the diner early in the morning and set a bag of Halloween candy on fire after stealing cigarettes.
