Anthony Weiner: Our congressional athlete

From the NY Times:

Amid his relentless Sunday press conferences, occasional outbursts at staffers and assiduous courting of voters outside Manhattan, Mr. Weiner carves out as much time as he can for sports, and plays with a skill and seriousness unusual for any elected official.

If Mr. Weiner, 44, a Democrat who represents Brooklyn and Queens, prevails in the election this fall, he would be the most athletic mayor since John V. Lindsay, the dashing former collegiate rower who regularly bicycled to help stay trim.

I'd rather see Doug Sisk in a Mets uniform than Anthony Weiner.

"and plays with a skill and seriousness unusual for any elected official"

As evidenced by this photo, I think his skill and seriousness would also be above the average of the real Mets.
