Shea driving headaches

If you're planning to take yourself out to the ballgame at Shea anytime this season, better leave the personal vehicle at home:

'LOTS' OF TROUBLE AWAIT MET FANS

The price of progress is sitting in traffic for 2 hours.

Go park your cars in front of (City Council Transportation Committee) John Liu's house off Bayside Ave. east of Union St. (Be sure to block his driveway)!

It's a short bus ride from there!

I really like the idea of cutting back on seats, more standing room, double ticket prices, and the whole shebang subsidied by my taxes.

Now if we cut the taxes just think of the thousands of units of housing that suddenly become affordable without laying one brick.

Real Mets fans don't drive to Shea, they take the 7 train.

The fans who drive are the suburbanites who left the city. THose who take the 7 train- they're the true fans. Once Shea Stadium bites the dust ,I hope the MTA can keep the name on the subway station. It sounds better than Citi field.
