Former QNS reporter is Liz Crowley's communications director

Former QNS reporter Maggie Hayes wrote quite a bit for the paper before 2015, when she became Liz Crowley's communications director. When I said someone called in a favor, I wasn't kidding.

Want more proof?
Perhaps QNS should have revealed this in their editorial about the shelter.

They would be laughable and pathetic, if their actions weren't so dangerous.

Keep up the good work Crappy.

This is sooooo not surprising.

Hacks become flacks all the time and then turn around and do asshole shit like this. All for $45K and the hope of becoming part of the permanent government. How pathetic.

This is so rampant they have "hacks and flacks" drink meetups. Yup, the people who represent the electeds go bar hopping with reporters that cover them. Not making this up. For anyone else it would be a conflict of interest....

Great work by the Crapper. Who is that Crappin' Man?

AND ON THAT NOTE, FORMER TV REPORTER PAUL FLEURANGES IS THE VICE PRESIDENT OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AT THE MTA NYC TRANSIT DIVISION.

Why is everyone so surprised. Can't believe a word the media prints or says. They are all bought and paid for by special interests -- just like your elected politicians. They twist words and news items for political correctness People better smarten up and vote all these losers out come election day. If not, you get the government you deserve.

Free press!
Hahahaha, free for the cronies.
They see something on the blog and now they are up in arms blaming the blog.
Well the gig is up morons.
None of this would be an issue if reporting was fair and honest.
Shame on them!

“Freedom of speech is a principal pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved, and tyranny is erected on its ruins. Republics…derive their strength and vigor from a popular examination into the action of the magistrates.” - Benjamin Franklin

All the so called "journalists" have all been indoctrinated in the government schools.

This is, I am sure is just a coincidence.

I doubt they were in bed together.

Nothing to see here, keep moving along...

The biggest problem here is the enablers.
Without QNS buddy buddy system there would have no problem reporting and exposing real news corruption.
Trump is absolutely right. The media is the problem. Big problem.
They are corrupt to the bones, dishonest that even the soviet Politburo would have envied them!
They are enabling corruption, sweep real news under the rugs, misrepresenting facts,
basically they manufacture news, YOUR/OUR REALITY as they seem fit (and of course paid for in the process).
Is a pretty sad day when the so called media is trying to pick a fight with an honest blogger instead of exposing corrupt, lying no good politicians who represent special interests and line their pockets in the process.
Crappie they can't even shine your shoes.

What a joke!!! The idiots at QNS think that this is a legitimate article? Looks like their editor needs to take a Continuing Ed Journalism refresher class. He's been a lapdog a little too long. What a disgrace

ELIZABETH CROWLEY is dumber than a door knob, that's a fact. It's curious that she had to go this far to get a "newspaper" to come to her defense means that there IS a smoking gun. However you would think that QNS/Queens Courier would not risk their reputation for the likes of Dizzy Lizzy Crowley. Wait a minute, their reputation? What was I thinking? Vicki Schits would sell her first born for a full page ad.
