Time to clean the cart!

"This food cart located at 253-06 Hillside Avenue in Bellerose Queens has been at this location 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for over 6 months.

Where is the Department of Mental Health and Hygiene? Why aren’t they enforcing the NYC sanitary codes? Food carts are required to be cleaned at an approved commissary or depot.

If they have been enforcing the laws, why is the cart still on the street 7 days a week, 24 hours a day?" - anonymous

That's MY food cart. You told me not to quit my day job so I decided to add to my empire. You can't beat my meat. Then again, neither can I.

The cart is across the street from the bus stop I use every morning. If you go by around 6:00am in the morning you might be able to catch the guy sleeping inside.Don't make to much noise you might wake him.

What about the guy in front of Western Beef in College Point??

For the sake of his customers, one hopes the guy inside washes periodically, too.

i saw a hot dog cart vendor washing his cooking apparatus,by dipping his rags in the dirty gutter water, one late afternoon in n.y.c.

he was still prepping his dogs for late diners, after.

This food cart is a shit hole. You couldn't pay me to eat there. This thing is never cleaned and is there 24/7. Why is the city crying they have no money when shit shacks like this can operate illegally, without any laws being enforced? With that look at the store behind it. The store has numerous pending tickets sited by the Department of Buildings. Which they keep pushing the dates and still able to operate. Meanwhile parking is a free for all in front of this store. Where are the city agencies. "We have no money", Mike Bloomberg, get your city agencies to do there job and collect much money needed. This third world shit shack could close the budget deficit between the cart, violations and parking tickets within a few weeks. 253 Street resident.

Went by this morning at 5:30 I coundn't tell if he was sleeping or just resting his eyes.
Whats the problem here? Are you not allowed to take a break in the the cart or is it that the cart is operating around the clock without getting cleaned daily? Forget about the cart, check out the building behind it.Wow , does it have alot of violations with the Building Department
