From the NY Post:
The inspectors have yet to be charged, but have all quit, Mayor Bloomberg said -- the day after The Post broke the news of the scandal.
"They have resigned...You can rest assured we're not going to tolerate any of this," the mayor said.
"This is an industry that obviously for a long period of time has had problems with lawbreakers. We keep working at it and working at it, and hopefully, someday, we'll get rid of everybody in the construction industry that breaks the law."

Resigning is only half the battle. Now its time for the auditors. Bring on the IRS.
You'll never catch me!
Well, I'm sure he was in on it. Does that mean he's going to resign too? Just asking!

Obviously? Obviously?
Of course it's been obvious. Even to the Commissar.
He just believed that all the lawbreaking was contained and that the voting public would never know, no matter what our suspicions.
Let's now see who will vote for this vicious predator.
After the election, let's retire this turtle-faced lying crook to jail - where he belongs.
are you kidding me this dumb ass mayor was in on it.. i hope the feds investergate him. he had so much construction going up thru out the city and hires companies who hire illegals, so they don't pay the union scales. i say fxxk bloomturd and hope bloomturd and all of his commiss' get thrown out on their asses.
Remember? When he ran the first time and already taking credit for 311 he said it would be an important tool for him to clean up the agencis especially DOB. Too bad people have short memories.
Primary Day is on for Tuesday. See you at 6:00 am. A prize for the first one on line.
Here is an article about voting in New York City.

God help us all if we don't get it right this time.
A neighbor just put in a complaint call directly to DOB rather than phone 311.
She got shunted back to 311 from the DOB and eventually got connected to a so-called DOB building "specialist".
That "specialist" didn't even know what the new R1-2A zoning was!
Another product of the Bloomberg run around...the ineffective 311 system.
Hell...it's good for them because it keeps us citizens out of direct contact with our government.
Anyone remember the old "Mayor's Action Office" where you could get better access and more accountability?
