De Blasio to crooked donor: “Do what you’ve got to do.”

From the Daily News:

A major donor to Mayor de Blasio dropped a bombshell Thursday, testifying under oath that when he told Hizzoner he’d have to arrange illegal campaign donations, de Blasio offered a stunning response:

“Do what you’ve got to do.”

Harendra Singh, a former Queens restaurateur who threw free fund-raisers for the mayor and raised thousands of dollars for him, said the mayor twice took a look-the-other-way approach when he broached the subject of illegal contributions.

It’s unclear when the exchanges took place, and whether de Blasio was a mayoral candidate or in office at the time.

Singh, 59, is testifying as a prosecution witness in the trial of a Long Island politician, ex-Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano. Mangano’s wife, Linda, and former Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto are also on trial.

Singh’s pleaded guilty to bribery charges and stated he raised funds for de Blasio to win favorable treatment from City Hall over a lease dispute involving his restaurant, Water’s Edge.

Prosecutors have said a top de Blasio aide, identified by sources as Emma Wolfe, pressured city managers to treat Singh favorably.

Last March prosecutors announced de Blasio and his minions would not be charged with criminal activity, but they made a point of saying they’d done favors for donors.

Man, this mayor is stupid. I bet he thought when he said these things he assumed it wasn't duplicitous, complicit or incriminating. This ties directly to his CONY fundraising to finance state senate campaigns that wound up losing and implicates a congresswoman and an aide in political bribery and racketeering.

What needs to be done now is to find out the guest list at those two fundraisers. Particularly any predatory developer involved with the affordable housing scheme and the wormtongue lobbyists that got access to city planning meetings in city hall. Maybe also check if people of renown were there too, say de Faustio's buddy Cynthia Nixon (to her credit she claims she is refusing corporate donations that exploit loopholes in contributing through, ahem, potential straw donors)

When this went to press, de Faustio and his wife jetted out of town to Florida to watch his beloved Red Sox in spring training. He's already acting like a fugitive.
Since re-election De Faustio has spent about half his time out of town. Who the hell is running this town?

Before he bailed, de Faustio actually chided Cuomo for visiting NYCHA buildings and viewing the decay and dilapidation insided them up close. And accused him of using the blight as a photo-op (which he did back in 2013). When he and his favorite NYCHA commissioner could have done the same. It takes a lot to make Mario's son look like a populist and a hero.

Are you kidding? She's the best shot we have now that Preet is gone of removing Cuomo. Sure, she's Trump 2.0 (from the loony left end of the spectrum) so Andy can't use his typical "I'm for the little guy" ruse that works on Republicans. But she's not nearly as cunning as Trump, and certainly not as seasoned as Andy at running the show. She'll drive the legislature nuts, and the courts will prevent her from doing most of what she probably doesn't understand can't be done anyway. Plus, if Zephyr Teachout stays in her good graces, we might get campaign finance reform and property tax cuts. Don't pass off the good that can come of this opportunity.

It's a kakistocracy of corruption that is so completely hyper-corrupt, entrenched and establishment-rigged that high crime cities like Detroit, Paterson, New Jersey, East Oakland, California, and East St. Louis, Illinois are starting to look like most favorable places to live.

Where is this alleged 'No one is above the law,' bullshit? Nice job, Preet (who was always Schmuck Schumer's bitch, in the first place——another corrupt criminal in cradle-to-grave service to himself)? The corruption and lawlessness is at the top (as always), which triggers the vigilantism and violence at the bottom BECAUSE of it——and, the public be damned!

Face it, New York City hostages: New York City and New York State are DemonRat-entrenched Mafia crime family rings that even ACTUAL organized crime family rings could not rival, much less surpass——where the vig is always the source of our vastly overpaid taxes that accomplish nothing: No social contract, our representatives' ignoring my requests for help (they never call back, and then they get nasty and hostile when I demand taxation WITH representation).

It's a vicious cycle of ineptitude for which a limousine liberal like Cynthia Nixon (and de BLASS-hole apologist), will NEVER get a crack at politics, when she is selectively blind to the massive, raw sewage plant that everyone in New York City can smell that emanates from THIS crooked-and-corrupt administration, versus the swamp in DC and the cesspool in Albany that she was able to target like a bullet in flight——but, missing the epicenter of City Hall corruption like a blinded seeing eye dog.

And, the red flags of this 'MIRANDA' small craft warning are visible before Little Miss 'Sex And The City' even enters the room: NEVER TRUST ANYONE WITH A LAST NAME LIKE NIXON (LEAST of all THIS 'Show People' hustler)!

The only problem with Nixon is that she's joined at the hip with De Blasio. That in itself is enough of a red flag for me.

Yes! If she were just another celebrity candidate, maybe. But she is STILL a deBlasio supporter. She is calling out Cuomo's corruption but not a peep about the Mayor's very questionable behavior? The problem with these celebrity candidates is that they drown out credible people who might otherwise run. Did anyone know that State Senator Terry Gibson was a candidate? He was running until Nixon announced. This state deserves better than to have to choose between an inexperienced multi-millionaire masquerading as a populist and dynastic rule.

Stephanie Manor, a democrat from Syracuse is also running. Cyndi had the audacity to claim that she's running because no one else has the courage to stand up to Mario's son. Truly the lofty-left fauxgressive version of Trump.

The state and society and democracy as a whole doesn't need this bullshit, Ms. Nixon.
