Dirtbag gets jail for house theft

From the Daily News:

A Queens ex-con pleaded guilty on Friday to stealing an elderly woman's house out from under her.

Darrell Beatty, 51, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a forged instrument for using a phony deed to swipe Jennifer Merin's Laurelton house out from under her.

As a result of the plea deal, he'll get even more free housing — it calls for him to get a year in jail.

Merin, 72, said that's not enough time.

"I'm glad he's going to jail. He deserves to go to jail but I think that the sentence was too brief," she told the Daily News after Beatty's plea. "He lived in my house for longer than he will be in jail and he'll be out on the streets again."

A year is just enough time for him to teach everyone in the jail how to do the same thing he did.

She ought to go after city hall as well.

That's enough time for him to get some really good ass fuckings in. Trust me.

A year? That's it? He deserves at least 10 years.

Still no penalty or punishment to the government lackey that processed the obviously fraudulent documents.

This clown had to have someone putting him up to it, someone who would get the property eventually. He doesn't seem smart enough to have done this on his own.

Follow Muslim law. Cut his hands off!
There are precious few times that I can agree with Muslim extremism.
This is one of them.

What about the damage he did to the house, the alterations, the trashing of this woman's furniture, the theft of what was left in the house?
Why is their no mention of required remuneration for all this woman's losses?
Can someone find the name and photo of the sentencing judge and post it?
Sounds like a case of racist judicial nullification, something that happens all the time in jury trials.
After all, I'm sure this guy had a tough childhood, father wasn't around, yadda, yadda, yadda.
The owner said it best: this POS spent more time in a house that wasn't his than he will in jail.
Welcome to the 'New World Order' under DeBlasio's NYC.

Hell, that is the same sentence that former Senator Shirley Huntley received and she stole $80,000.

What a fucked up system.

There is so many people doing this same scam. Why didn't the judge make a example out of this guy, I thought he was already a x-criminal. Poor lady has lost thousands of dollars and all he gets is 1 year and he will just do 6 months out on good behavior. She will just waste her time trying to get money from this bum. Some time is better none in this case.
