You guys can take this up with the supreme court or what ever since you think this was some kind of scam and John is essentially some kind of hellish figure(in your minds). In truth Avella's the hellish figure who needs to be taken care of. He screwed over the politicians and voters who supported him when he first ran for senate. By joining the IDC he showed that he has no care for what his constituents believe or even what he himself believes. The IDC has already agreed to vote with democrats if democrats can obtain senate majority. If not they will vote with republicans. The have no care for where they stand on an issue so long as they stand on the winning side. I challenge anyone to defend Avella with the IDC, even Queens Crapper, because what Avella has done is most simply described as wrong. Anyone who supports Avella either suffers from mental retardation or is extremely uninformed about local politics.
We played a Saturday evening benefit concert BBQ in some park in Whitestone 3 years ago for kids baseball equipment.
John Liu came by to make some political speech about the children, baseball, parks blah blah blah. You had to see how all these department of sanitation, parks and fire dept people in charge were carrying on about Lui. It seemed all these big Irishmen thought Lui was the messiah, King Tut or something.
After a total 4 minutes including some photos ops Lui was gone. Come the 4th and 5th time of asking for the paperwork to deduct my services on taxes people started disappearing real quick. Turns out there WAS NO SUCH "Patty Mac foundation" the whole thing was a cigar box operation and Lui had to know it because these people (or should I say crooks?) were clearly close buddy's of his.

As for Avella, since his biggest criticism was that he couldn't get his legislation passed, he did what he had to do to change that. Voters care more about results than party politics. Boo hoo, Joe Crowley is upset.
Avella is the only guy who is trying and getting some things done in this dysfunctional state. I don't care what he has to do to get legislation passed that needs to get passed.

I got one of those post-it notes too. Compared the one stuck in my door handle to the one posted here and it looked almost exactly the same...same spacing, apparently the same size writing. If you have any doubt about this, wait until you get one and compare it to your neighbor's.
