Back in July 2009, QC featured this stalled construction on Forest Avenue and called for a forced demo.
Whether or not this was "forced" I'm not sure. But the eyesore is no more. The demo happened in 2010. There's still outstanding fines due, however.

Better than before, but the lot still looks like shit.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. Ha Ha Ha Ha
Outstanding Fines Due. They will never be paid. The system is a joke and needs to be fixed
Christ, more fucking cement.
Look at all that grass!
That is a real small lot. I can see a lot of crashes happening there. But it does look better than that other eyesore that was there before!
Seriously? This is considered better?
Am I happy about the sea of concrete? No. Am I happy the ugly rat infested smelly building is gone? Yes.
Better than that eyesore. That's the way we have to start looking at our most corrupt borough...where politicians are bought for ice cream money.
