Came across this monstrosity at 390 Melrose Street one fine afternoon. There has been a permit for this unfinished building on file since 1999. Why it's taking so long to finish, I'm not sure. To me it looks more like a gaudy catering hall than a church.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Construction projects should be completed in a reasonable amount of time.
If that does not happen they should be demolished.
When are our politicians going to address this problem? Never! Seems like it. There are far too many abandoned projects sitting in neighborhoods destroying property values.
Seems simple. Pass the leglislation to see that these buildings come down in a reasonable amount of time.
