Queens counterfeiters busted on Long Island

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police in Suffolk County have arrested and charged two Queens men with counterfeiting handbags with a street value of over $100,000.

Police identified the men as 32-year-old He Bao, of Corona, and 26-year-old Jie Dai, of College Point.

Officers responded to Tell Avenue Mini Storage, located at 308 Commack Road in Deer Park around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

They seized more than 200 boxes containing the Coach and Louis Vuitton handbags from a self-storage container and a rented box truck.

The Police should call their buddies in China-town where they could seize every store along Canal Street and within a 1/2 mile of both sides.

At least they didn't smuggle humans in the hand bags, they are only selling them to illegal humans.

If people weren't so obsessed with Louis Vuitton and Coach, these criminals wouldn't be in business.

I concur with the last post. They wouldn't be there if there wasn't a market for this. People who buy from them are as much to blame as they are for making and selling them.

I hope you are joking, otherwise you have a poor understanding of what 911 is for.

Actually, that would be a 911 call.

they do not quit when caught.
they look like members of a counterfeit gang that was arrested in Bayside,Queens two months ago.they were
operating out of an illegal basement apartment and garage.

The previous poster has been brainwashed by the Bloomberg administration into thinking that 311 actually does work and gets results and to not call 911 when their is a real crime underway.

Yeah, right!

the only one who thinks that 311 does NOT work is you because you call them probably for stupid things. NOW, you have revealed to us that you call 911 for stupid things too.

911 is for emergencies ONLY. Someone selling black market cds is NOT an emergency.

I'd say to call your local precinct - but you've probably abused them also.

False. 911 is to report a crime.

And 311 works well for some things and horribly for others.

I see complaints here that people have difficulty getting the police to respond to serious quality of life issues and crimes, yet some are ok with calling 911 on small time street vendors. If it bothers you to see someone doing something off the books or illegal, then you are living in the wrong city.

I'm curious if anyone here has called 911 on these street vendors and what the response was from either the operator or the police. Please share your stories.

Where do the cops come from when you call 911 from a particular city location? I assume from the local precinct that covers that location. Most of the time these cops are just cruising around, no? So give them something to do and call 911 for the illegal counterfeit-purveying street vendor.

I was approached by a Chinese woman with a shopping bag of DVD's in the LIC Home Depot. She handed me 3 empty DVD covers to sample her wares. I had them in my hand and yelled at her something like "these are counterfeit!" [I'm in the media and it would piss me off to no end if someone ripped-off my copyright. So I'm extremely sympatico to pursuing these counterfeiting creeps.] The woman quickly yanked the DVD covers out of my hand before I could even attempt to hold onto them. She quickly left the store and headed around the corner. Next time, I'll be quicker then her and hand on to the rip-off products and see where that goes. Join me in the fun.

It's a 911 call. Depending on the amount od dvd's the PERP has in his possessio,it could be a FELONy-TRADEMARK COUNTERFEITTING......and you can get a reward.....win/win situation!

LOL!

Think chink for discount copies of expensive European goods which are usually made in Asia (or other 3rd world countries) anyway!

I almost bought a Pierre Cardin blazer until I noticed it was made in Malaysia.

H-m-m-m-m....it WAS NOT made in France!

So why shouldn't I buy Chinese counterfeit directly and eliminate the middleman Monsiuer Cardin?
