Ugly list fails to include real crapitecture
So the Daily News has a list of the Top Ten Ugliest Buildings in NYC as compiled by the AIA. They failed to include any in the Queens Crapitecture style. Walk down your average outer borough street and you can't miss them. They're all more offensive than anything on this list by far.

That's exactly what I was thinking while looking at this list. In fact, some of the "ugliest" buildings they chose aren't really all that bad. I'd dare say some of them look decent.
I can walk a one block radius in my neighborhood (Astoria) and find a dozen worse offenders.
6. Training Center, Ironworkers Local 40 & 361, 35-23 36th St., Queen

Huh? That is actually a fairly nice building for what it is.
Vitruvius is rolling in his grave!
They leave Queens off the list because
1. our leadership are postal clerks - crap? well give it a Queensmark or an award from the Chamber.
2. most of the locals are immigrants and illegal ones at that. Take a look at their home countries.
3. no one in Queens will complain and if they do, they will either be drowned out by the machine or doublecrossed and marginalized.
wow - the editor is knocking some of Trumps!! this is goooooddd.
(Maybe Rosie is the real editor? . . . heehee)
they left queens off the list - because the article is about buildings in MANHATTAN - it's THAT simple.
jeeeezzz . . .
No it's not. They included outer borough buildings as well. You need help, Babs.
sorry - the title said "New York City" - I obviously was thrown off because of it. There were two out of 10 that didn't belong in the mix.
