The worst part of it is that drivers are going to pay more now to cross the bridge... and the money supports the subways that we don't - and can't - use.

Liman, with respect to you, even in the unlikely event that you never use the subway, it keeps the roads free of traffic so you can actually drive.
Imagine if all of those people joined you, it would be worse than the Long Island Distressway at rush hour on every highway during every hour.
Also, express buses and local buses serve many crippled and disabled Queens residents. They are entitled to something too.
I am just offended that the mayor is so unfamiliar with a subway map that he would tell people to use subways where there are none. It shows how spoiled he is.

So what EXACTLY did he say? Is there a transcript or a recording somewhere? I would bet the house that he actually does know that there's no subway from Bayside to the Bronx. In my experience in cases like this city officials usually use language like, "use subways or buses if at all possible." Maybe there's no subways in Bayside but maybe not all of the affected drivers are going to Bayside. I'd really like to hear what he actually said.
Not that it matters, I guess, since he's CLEARLY a faggot, and taking it in the ass is all anyone cares about.
