Queens Borough Board Budget hearing Tuesday

Budget Hearings Scheduled!

In accordance with Section 241 of the New York City Charter, the Queens Borough Board will hold a public hearing on the Mayor’s Fiscal Year 2009 Preliminary Expense and Capital Budgets on Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 beginning at 9:30am. The hearing will be held in Room 213 in Queens Borough Hall.

To register for speaking time, call (718) 286-2900 between the hours of 9:30am and 5:00pm.

The deadline to register is Friday, February 15th at 5:00pm. Times will be allotted to those testifying in the order in which they registered. There is a maximum of 3 minutes on speaking time! Anyone else wishing to provide testimony may appear in person the day of the hearing and will be added to the list in consecutive order. If you are unable to attend the hearing, please feel free to email your testimony to budgethearing@queensbp.org, in a “Word” document.

We look forward to hearing your comments on the Mayor’s Fiscal Year 2009 Preliminary Budget. This input will be used to develop the Queens Borough Board Budget Priorities for Fiscal Year 2009. Please be prepared to submit (20) twenty written copies of your testimony.

of Mayor Dumb-berg's fiscal plans for NYC!

I have to bring 20 copies? What - no copy machines at borough hall?
