Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday named an ex-City Councilman as his Buildings Commissioner and an ally of disgraced state lawmaker Hiram Monserrate to be the Big Apple’s next sheriff.
The two appointments came as Hizzoner traveled to California for a technology-related conference.
The new buildings chief, Eric Ulrich, was first elected to represent Queens at City Hall in a February 2009 special election and departed last year under the term limits law.
Adams initially hired him in January as a senior adviser, where he
helped vet candidates for other key positions in the administration.

Eric Ulrich did nothing for his constituents of Ozone Park, Queens when he was the city council member. He did not address the issues and improve the quality of life for homeowners, taxpayers and people who wanted to live in safe neighborhoods.
In the poorer parts of Ozone Park, closer to Cityline Brooklyn, there were many crimes committed by angry homeless men against members of the Bangladeshi community. Never once did Eric Ulrich go to that area to address the crimes being committed there. He simply did not care.
He did not care about greedy property owners renting out their 2 family homes to illegals, criminals, and shady people who held illegal parties that served alcohol to minors and had illegal drugs.
Basically, DO NOT expect Ulrich to address and fix the problems in public and private buildings.
Do not expect him to fix anything. He only cares about being buddies with Adams and every other politician who serve themselves.

A drunken dipsomaniac like Little Eric should have completed his studies in the priesthood——at least I would be able to understand his choice to join an indoctrinated part of a global criminal enterprise called The FAITH Business——a perfect match for his habitual lies, sleaze and lowlife hustling that left Ozone Park in ruin. Likewise, fellow dirt bag Jerkface Addabbo, who even gives MENDACITY a bad name! No one ever CHANGES the MAFIA——BY JOINING IT!
Eric Ulrich, a do nothing, know nothing parasite from Ozone Park, who left his district in Third World shambles has ignored his constituency for nearly a decade, and immediately employed his Friends and Family on the public payroll who lied, covered up and disgraced southeastern Queens with their extreme arrogance, ignorance, immaturity and inverted totalitarian rule.
POLITICIANS ARE OBSOLETE, SHEEPLE, and Ulrich (and his purported state of alcoholism) personifies highest levels of incompetence like no one else——no surprise given how corrupt the totally unqualified imbecile is who hired him. Together, they are an extreme embarrassment to primates for whom everyone else will continue to pay the ultimate price, as violence, murder, homicide and senseless daytime killings rise to unprecedented levels for 2022 (up more than 12% from last year, which was considered the most dangerous year over the past four years of ever climbing violent crime and lawlessness).
In the end (as in the beginning), Ulrich knows as much about the Department of Buildings as he does about the thousands of ever languishing constituents like me who he left to rot in obscurity in his former, No Show/Phantom patronage job in Councilmanic District 32, as he bartered his profoundly damaged soul for yet another taxpayer funded, 'lunch-and-a-manicure' spot as a stressful day in Yuppy Fantasia. This inveterate liar, coward and thief continually devalues honesty itself——to pathologically traitorous and monstrously self-serving effect! And the public be damned (again and STILL)!
