Kennedy Kaos

From the NY Times:

Kennedy Airport remained in disarray on Sunday, three days after New York City’s first major snowstorm of 2018 disrupted operations. Since the storm, a lingering, bone-chilling cold and a series of missteps have contributed to a logjam that has left thousands of travelers stranded and caused hundreds of flights to be canceled or diverted.

The disorder at J.F.K., one of the world’s busiest airports, rippled across the world, affecting passengers as far away as Beijing. Flights headed to New York were forced to turn back, and connecting flights that were only supposed to bring passengers to New York for a brief stay were grounded indefinitely.

On Sunday, just as there were signs that things were finally improving, a water main break in a terminal plunged the airport back into chaos. The flooding — three inches in parts of Terminal 4 — compounded the confusion that had gripped parts of Kennedy all weekend, as airlines tried to rebound from the cancellation of thousands of flights because of the storm. Officials of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which operates Kennedy Airport, were still trying to sort out what had gone wrong on Saturday when they had to scramble on Sunday to cope with the burst pipe.

Welcome to our Third-World city.

Shouldn't the title of this post be "Kennedy Chaos", not "Kaos"?

WHERE THE HELL IS THE GOVERNOR??? NOWHERE TO BE SEEN OR HEARD !!

WEEKS AGO HE DIDN'T MIND FACING THE PRESS WHEN HE WAS CRITICIZING THE CITY FOR NOT CONTRIBUTING ENOUGH TO THE M.T.A. BUDGET OR THE MAYOR FOR NOT DOING ENOUGH TO ADDRESS THE SUBWAY DELAYS. APPARENTLY HE LOVES A GAME OF HIDE & SEEK EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE.

NYC has officially become a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY. NOTHING Works: subway, streets, airports and we have tons of homeless shelters everywhere filled with homeless from out of the state and out of the country that we the tax payers have to pay for someone else's problem.

WHAT A SHIT CITY. Nothing works, but yet it is SO EXPENSIVE. For the cost of living in NYC, everything should be brand spanking new, works well and NO TRASH.

Although she's no longer in office and therefore we shouldn't waste our time talking about her - would you agree that Dizzy Lizzy had the same expression-less look on her face as Hymie the robot?

JFK's International Terminal was flooded because a water main broke, one airline, Delta diverted overseas flights to Atlanta, and transferred any passenger going to JFK on a domestic flight back to JFK's domestic terminal. I thought we are trying to be economical and wise about the environment. Imagine how much fuel was wasted doing that. They could not divert to Newark or Philadelphia?
Yes NYC is officially third world and still one of the most expensive places on Earth and easily the most expensive place to live in America. Despite shelling out all that money you get nothing in return.

When I retire from my job in a few years I will take a long look at other places to live.
Extended vacations in other cities and urban towns will help me make a informed decision.
N.Y.C. including Queens where I live are no longer enjoyable or affordable.
In fact it sucks to live here now compared to the "Good Old Days" of the 60's & 70's !

Time fpr reasonable new yorkers to self segregate into more free states. Let the liberal sheep drown in the socially engineered kakistocracy that they have forced on us.
