ELECTED OFFICIALS:

Stop wasting time and tax payer's money on complete bullshit like this statue commission, which the majority of people could care fucking less about.

In the meantime this shitty city has the worst subway system in the world, the worst streets & roads, crazy homeless taking up the subway trains (especially the E Train), homeless encampments in certain subway station (Jamaica Center), over development, crappy quality of life and a thousand other issues that need dealt with this.

Government at its fucking worse.

Good.

Also nice to see that racist predator co-op manager in Sunnyside permanently removed from his position and his nazi propaganda ripped down.

Interesting that none of the local papers had anything about this...and I wonder what made the city "commission" make this decision.

WHO gets to write these "informational plaques"? WHO gets to review the copy thereon?

City maybe doesn't want to lose the tax revenue of remaining italians, or for that matter, all reasonable, patriotic, normal americans. At least until they upzone everything.

And now on to his next Communist mission: suing the big oil companies. He knows it's the only way to fund his Socialist programs that are draining city coffers.

***suing the big oil companies***

Really stupid move, what if the oil companies say, you know what we don't deliver anymore to NYC gas or heating fuel until you resign.
These people are extortionists, they come up with all kind of scams to extort more and more money. I don't believe all the monies are spent on social programs until I see a detailed accounting what came in and what went out. Sorry, these monies are just disappearing, taxes go up every year, everything goes up every year.
Where is the money going?

Now that we've solved this pressing issue, can we appoint a city commission to solve the subway crisis, because it truly is a crisis at this point...every day this new year there has been an issue. Somebody has to step up and take responsibility...oh, who am I kidding...

Unimportant issues compared to the corruption that runs rampant in city government

Now, Columbus is off limits——and, apparently so is Kew Gardens Plaza's robbed 'Triumph of Civic Virtue, where it continues to languish now for five staggering years (STILL on temporary loan), at Green-Wood Cemetery, among the dead and buried.

I wrote Commissioner Tom Finkelpearl a lengthy e-mail in which he received before Thanksgiving, regarding why this beloved and precious statue was still languishing at a Brooklyn graveyard, and despite two telephone calls to ask why he hasn't responded, I am still waiting for a reply.

This is the worst AND most vacuous AND MOST UNACCOUNTABLE administration that ever destroyed New York City——to completely obliterating effect! It is a padded cell that is packed to the gills with cushy, six-figure patronage jobs that betray all pretense of public trust, ethics, integrity, accountability and transparency, and the people who SHOULD be overseeing matters are already on the payroll and in lower positions of power——but, they remain stymied and immobilized by the arrogant power grab that accomplished nothing EXCEPT to create an exalted quality of life and standard of living for these empowered idiots of epic, societal-and-government fail.

However, in THIS asylum of New York City and State government, the ones who should't be arrest ARE (on the flimsiest of charges, mind you), and the ones who are openly practiced criminals couldn't get arrested, and, to quote President Trump——not even if they murdered someone in broad daylight, RIGHT on Fifth Avenue!

Meanwhile, We, the People's robbed Civic Virtue statue is STILL keeping vigil among the dead in a Brooklyn graveyard——an act of total criminal madness, and depraved indifference.

What a failure. This shows that despite de Faustio's connections to liberal elites of celebrity and academics that he can't get shit accomplished. That's the bright side of this story.

Even though there were only two meetings, this was a colossal waste of tax expenditure.

George makes a good point again, (let this show that people with different philosophical and political opinions and beliefs can co-exist and wind up agreeing on essential matters) , who gets to decide and review to write on the plaques? This is another waste of tax expenses too. These observations should be on the beholder whether informed or uninformed. The internet makes all this history easily attainable. Oh, and libraries too even still.

I thought of Joe Moretti yesterday when I was on Long Island and I saw a van with the name "Clean Jamaica" on the side of it. I think it's for a demolition contractor. And yes, we need a complete demolition done on the bums who are in office.

Wrote to Finkelpearl? Do not waste your time. A minor functionary that is going about destroying the one thing NYC has - the arts and tourism.

He is destroying the arts scene by starving them for money to fund every little bodega front ethnic racial (s*culture) group that provides a photo op and future votes and support for our 3rd rate office holders.

Can you see tourists from Germany or Iowa coming to NYC to see a Hmong Dance Troupe or Lake Titicaca Art Gallery both located in downtown Jamaica. That is what happens when you have an official state supported 'Art Plan'. Its a bit like culture in Red China or North Korea when the arts have bills like 'The East is Red.'

The future of arts in NYC can best be depicted by those stomach churning Fulong Gong Dance commercials where Democrat caucasians gush ecstatic over acts that used to be the B Card for the Ed Sullivan Show.

The only good thing about the corruption and incompetence of DeBlasio's administration is that the City will get so bad that a Rudy type candidate will be voted in to clean up the place in 2021.

THE ONLY THING THAT WILL CLEAN UP NY IS IF THE ELECTORATE TAKES THINGS IN THEIR OWN HANDS INSTEAD OF ALWAYS EXPECTING SOMEONE ELSE WILL DO YOU DIRTY WORK FOR YOU.

Oh golly gosh, just what I need - reeducation about the people of NYC statues, as I am not allowed to have my own thoughts and perceptions. So not PC to have rational thoughts.

Under our new commandant, El Jefe, Wilhelm (Heil Wilhelm) I no longer have the heavy pressure of thinking. I praise you Wilhelm. Oopa Wilhelm! I just want to know when are you going to start organ grinding again as I see you have a cute little monkey by your side?

On what god forsaken street corner will be the Reverend Al statue? Or maybe the combination Eric and Erica Garner Statues? How about the statue to those with the longest rap sheets who have been strung from prison on early release?

"Am I not allowed to have my own thoughts and perceptions"
----------------------------------------------------------------
It seems you can have thoughts and perceptions as long as the mayor & governor likes them under his grand vision of Scandinavian Socialism and imperial rule.
Why so many voters rewarded this sick bastard with re-election I have no Idea. Do that many people really want fascism, Scandinavian Socialism and imperial rule. -all things our forefathers, grandparents fought & died to prevent and escape ?

Now, Id like to know what these bastards are teaching our kids in school behind closed doors. Doors we cant enter or even listen aside some rehearsed & scripted parent-teacher night twice a year.

Thankfully we still have the anonymous internet - for now.

I doubt many people's grandparents feld here from Scandinavia to escape the social safety net. Plenty of people fled here to escape Soviet-led Communism in Eastern Europe (when they could get out) but Scandinavia didn't have a high emigration rate until the last few years when they found themselves flooded by Islamic fundamentalists.
