De Blasio sailing toward re-election

From the Daily News:

Mayor de Blasio has pulled up his job approval rating to its highest level in a year and would easily beat his leading Republican challenger, according to a new poll.

De Blasio leads Republican Paul Massey by a 59% to 25% margin in the Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday.

He gets a 50% approval rating, the best number he’s had in a year, compared to 42% of voters who disapprove of the job he’s doing as mayor.

Some 47% of New Yorkers said the mayor deserves reelection, while 44% said he does not.

Well folks, it seems we get the representation we deserve.

Not so fast there. Do not get like Clinton and think it is a given. Some one will run and I hope beat you desperately.

The daily News article states that in a primary challenge to the mayor, Tony Avella gets only 2%.

Well folks, it seems we get the representation we deserve.

Our only hope is that he gets bumped off by a Democratic challenger in the primary.

This may be a false flag considering the source is the NY Daily News.
I don't think it's possible that many New York City people are that blind stupid.
The Daily News (or it parent company) is kissing the mayors ass for some special interest reason. Where was this pole conducted outside the Dept of social service office, online ?
The pole has to be false, not one person I know (whose legal to vote) wants this sick progressive bastard Marxist re-elected.

If he wants to be elected again, he needs to start getting his son and his hair into photo ops immediately.

Let's just look in the current crop of DeBlASSio stories:

He wants to open 90 MORE homeless shelters in the city, which supposedly won't even approach housing all homeless--criminy, there will be nothing BUT homeless here, as scum from all over skedaddle themselves to NYC as fast as they can to get in on the city teat of social services, no residency requirement being in place. All neighborhoods but a few in Manhattan toney zip codes will become blighted with homeless wandering around defecating, tossing trash on the ground, etc.

Mayor Bill de Blasio admitted Monday he has a long history of doing favors for community members who need help with city business --how do you justify THAT? Corrupt POS.

De Blasio hits up 'regular' NYers for donations after being grilled by feds.

Mayor de Blasio is brushing off a plan to cut the credit-card “convenience” fees New Yorkers face when paying their city bills.

Inside de Blasio's 'land grab' aimed at boosting affordable housing data - Mayor de Blasio is attempting a Soviet-style takeover of 1,200 privately-owned co-op buildings in what critics charge is a blatant effort to artificially boost his affordable-housing numbers.

Mayor Bill de Blasio was grilled by heavy-hitting federal prosecutors about his campaign fundraising for over four hours on Friday.

Are these people supposedly polling in favor of THIS CRAP for real? Or is it, as I suspect, a completely manipulated and fabricated poll? I certainly hope so. Otherwise, we are well and truly screwed, to hand over a once-great city into the grossly inept stewardship of a moron like this, whose allegiance is not to the people of NY, unless they are ghetto thugs or illegal invaders.

What is wrong with the people in this city? His approval rating should be in the single digits.

NYC people are that blind and stupid.

Myself included, I haven't moved yet.

Working on it tho!

Probably because the remaining new yorkers with the right to vote are public employees/unions..

What were these people smoking when they rated him? Mayor dumbdumb.

How the hell is this possible??

If there's even a whiff of an indictment, then expect several Dems to enter the primary against him. There's still time.

When a majority of your population is in the county illegally, you face no competition whatsoever.

the democratic machine screwed Bo Dietl
they won't let him in the primary over some technicality they pulled out of their ass

Anonymous said...

It's the anti Trump voters. They know DBlaz will protect illegals so the Liberal Dems will make sure people get out to vote.for him. It's a given.

Can Tony Avella beat him? I hope so because I contributed $100 to his campaign.
Yet, Avella is not a household name which limits his chances.
Familiar political hacks are the brand names recognized by shopper-voters.
I live in hope that Avella's current run will not turn out like his past failed one.
Give money or else De Blasio wins again and NYC goes further down the sewer pipe.

Don't believe the hype. Despite how unsettling it is. Being that the collective public's cynicism about and lost of faith in government has taken over. Besides, this has happened before last year with the endless promotion and positive poll reports of Manifest Hillary's campaign, even in the primaries against Sanders. These people, meaning editors of certain newspapers, will never learn and a certain incompetent nationally elected official will continue to exploit this fact to justify his lunatic policies and oppression of the press.

The Daily News and The New York Times, with their irresponsible preemptive endorsement of our inherently corrupt mayor should both be ashamed of themselves for their baseless reports of De Faustio's supposed revitalization and dubious popularity and their continued undermining of other candidates. And also to come out with a story like this just a few days after his meeting with Preet and other prosecutors, which easily leads the reader to presume his innocence.

That guy is a thick-tougued jackass. Hanging out with Don Imus and telling titty jokes is his speed.

With that mess in the White House you can forget the gop here, NYC is not the Rust Belt or flyover.

Rob in Manhattan (and Astoria today).
