Parents want playground potties repaired

From DNA Info:

The bathrooms at a playground in Astoria Park are still closed after being shuttered because of a plumbing issue this summer — and local parents are calling on the city to get them fixed before the warm weather returns.

More than 300 people signed an online petition as of Friday morning asking the Parks Department to reopen the restrooms at Charybdis Playground, a popular play space near the waterfront.

Though the playground’s bathrooms are always closed during the winter, parents are worried they will have to spend another summer without them if repairs aren't finished soon, according to the petition.

Will they be adding an additional new bathroom for the LGBT people?

Why don't they build a dog run for kids. Besides, hasn't public urination been decriminalized?

Spoiled dogs (Diamond Dogs, farewell Bowie) get more respect and money from parks than the enjoyment and the bladders of children.

This isn't in Jimmy's district so who cares?

Costa Constantinides is a totaL failure as the area councilman. When he looks shame-faced in the mirror in the morning he must ask himself "What am I doing? What have I done?"

Resign now!

Is there a Scylla Park across the street?

No, but further over across the Hell Gate strait there is.

Are you sure he doesn't look in the mirror and wonder if that other animal is a threat?

The multimillion dollar vote getting dog run is blowing up in his face - under a flooded bridge ramp - a real class act there.

Just how many people can actually reach it with Fido? Perhaps a 5 block radius? What about the other 95% of the community?

Answer: one well connected cement vendor is enough to justify the expense.

No need. In Flushing Chinese parents let their kids use the streets to urinate.
I have seen it often enough. Pooping in the park would not be a problem either.
Who needs a toilet...eh Crappy?

Everyone that comes to this country should be given a manual on how to think, speak & act. Every two years they should be tested and If they fail, then their taxes should go up. If they continue to fail, then deport them!!

Vallone was the counselman then why did he not do anything about this -- but wait he is always at parties or riding his motorcycle --

They at least ought to be taught not to pee in public housing elevators and wipe their asses when they make doo doo.
Under civilized is what I call these people. Maybe in their country they shit in the bush and wipe their behinds with a bunch of leaves.
