I gotta get outta here
Here we go with the Archie Bunker and Queen Catherine references again...
The Revolutionary part of the twisted history lesson was pretty much lifted word for word from Forgotten NY.
The rest of the mess is here.
My favorite is the headline that promised "authentic ethnic eats" where she proceeded to chow down on hamburgers.

There is not one fact that is correct.
Sounds like they called QHS.
They didn't have to call QHS. Borough hall has their own BS "fact" sheet that they hand out. When you can rewrite history, you can control the sheepish residents of Queens. QHS goes along with it all, lest they lose funding.
One fact is correct, even Brooklyn has become too expensive for the hipsters. Queens is their 3rd choice. Manhattan was priced beyond their dreams decades ago. How does it feel to be a third rate borough?
I was born in Manhattan....lived in the Bronx until age 13...moved to Queens (not by choice) with my parents...but I think I will be buried in Brooklyn. Imagine taking a dirt nap in a backward farmers' borough like Queens? Yeccch. I'd rather be a tourist in Hell!
I'd rather be living in Queens than trying to escape from New York to an isolated illusion of paradise upstate somewhere. This is still The Big Apple...rotten as it might be at times. After all, even Queens is better than Poughkeepsie.
LOL! And you thought that becoming a historic district would help. Glad I live way out east. It will take about fifty years or more until the hipsters invade Douglaston.
"Imagine taking a dirt nap in a backward farmers' borough like Queens? ". Brooklyn was also farm country and I am sure you will make wonderful fertilizer .
Even further proof of what a moron she is. Last time she showed up in this blog was not enough....
Another stupid bit--talkng about Sunnyside over views of Queens Plaza.
Help!
I wish all these new morons in Queens would just go back to where they came from! And I'm NOT talking about the foreigners!
But a lot of Queens remained farm country through the 1930s, dummy. Brooklyn was its own city. As far as becoming fertilizer....don't we all? However, you keep running off at the mouth, and you'll need a second roll of toilet paper. You are way ahead of us, bub.
I've got a plot reserved in Greenwood cemetery. What a great place to "fertilize" if it comes to that. Anything but Queens...except for Staten Island...which should be ceeded to Jersey.
