Where was this photo taken?

This photo from the Museum of the City of New York is entitled, "The crowded main square at Long Island City; street car and bicyclists visible."

Where was the "main square" of LIC in 1898?

Could this be looking north at Court Square, since that's where the seat of local government was? Just guessing.

My guess is around 2nd St & Borden.

How about at the foot of Borden Ave. where the ferry terminal to
34th street Manhattan was located?

2nd Street at Borden Avenue. Miller's Hotel, presently the Waterfront Crabhouse, is in the center.
