It's time to trim your bush

"Northwest corner 165th St and 35th Ave...homeowner's hedge encroaches on a public sidewalk. Pedestrians have to walk on the grass curb strip." - The Flushing Phantom

It's also a great place for muggers to hide behind.

I've heard of hedge funds and hedging your bets,
but this hedge row needs a good barber!

I believe that this property belongs to
"Soo Wook's Academy".

Their school building is located directly adjacent to it, further west, along 35th Ave.

Is Sleeping Beauty's Castle behind there somewhere?
Maybe Councilman Halloran will report this to DOT.

A job for Edward Scissorhands.

Thanks Queens Crap.
I passed there Sunday and it hinders everyone who walks.
Just a inconsiderate home owner who needs to be told to do the right thing.

this problem must be the "BUSHES" fault !!!!!

Total lack of maintenance and now the property owners are screwed.
If they trim it back to code they will be left with bare brown branches and bright open cut wounds.
The foliage will never grow back in those areas like all pine based evergreens and shrubs.
Removal and replacement will cost a small fortune.

FU, Joe!

I don't give a crap how expensive it is.
They are breaking the law...goombah!
Capeesh?

This particular property owner is making a fortune off of the school that they run, right next door!
They can more than afford the removal and re-plant.

"Soo Wook's Academy" is their name,
and they are in violation of NYC's administrative code, regarding public safety!

Uh, Joe...those aren't pine based.
Now you're a tree expert too?

Chop it down with a backhoe.

Funny...somebody else in the nabe
appears to have this same variety of bush.

They trimmed theirs to the ground
and they sprouted up anew!

I cut down my own Barb Berry bushes to dirt level.
That's how you re-juvinate old growth.

Now they're more invigorated than ever.

Yep...
"north (sic) Flusing" sure is a real bargain...jealous one.
