If they got rid of the arch, the streetscape would look much better, don't you think?. This thing is an artistic embarassment. A fourth rate attempt at beautification. Dismantle it and ship it over to Borough Hall where it can join Fat Boy and the Red Bird - it's brothers in esthetic lunacy. Then we rename that section of Queens, the Mall of Mediocrity.
Advice: do not move into Sunnyside! We have lots of punks who publicly use drugs and rob. Crime is going up and we cannot have a decent store. I have also seen an increase in panhandlers. Some of the punks live in Sunnyside Gardens and come from money. They are still punks. We also have a pretty inept precinct, the 108th.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. Sunny's Ice is still in business? I was under the impression that it was no more Mr. Ice, guy.
The sign, like so much of local design, is out of date the moment the paint is dry.
The mall is a very deprssing place with sterile brick, uninteresting stores, homeless and the like, dirty and the ever present clatter of the trains.

It would look good as an entrance arch to those uglyassed hotels blighting Dutch Kills.
However was responsible for trashing that neighborhood should have been shot.
