From the Daily News:Joe Gindoff has a really cool pad.
The Jackson Heights, Queens, resident built a 2-ton igloo in the courtyard behind his Hawthorne Court co-op and spent Thursday night inside his chilly creation.
Gindoff assembled the 10-foot-long frozen wigwam over the weekend, even sprucing it up with an ice fireplace.
"It's a fully functional igloo, and I want to prove it by sleeping in it," said Gindoff, an air conditioning service manager who lost his job two weeks ago.
Not even last night's blustery forecast of just 15 degrees swayed the avid outdoorsman's resolve.
"Because of the extreme weather, I thought it would be a good idea to put the igloo to the real test," Gindoff said. "A couple people said they'd stop by and have hot chocolate with me."
P.S. It failed.

Probably better built and more spacious than any of the Queens Crap that has gone up in the last ten years.
DOB will fine him for numerous violations. They will then warn him that since he is not building a McMansion or unauthorized apartment building that he will have to tear it down.
