From Nanuet Patch:Rockland Democrats gathered at Clarkstown Town Hall Thursday evening to elect Kristin Zebrowski-Stavisky their new chairwoman.
Stavisky, 40, is the sister of Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski, D-New City.
And in case you haven't figured it out, she's also the wife of Evan Stavisky.
So Rockland County Democratic Party Chair Kristen Stavisky lives in a big house in Rockland County & her District Leader husband Evan Stavisky lives in a small apartment in Queens?
It couldn't be that he needs to be a resident of Queens to be a District Leader there and continue his "Pay to Play" game of handing out Democratic Party Endorsements?
Why doesn't anyone challenge this?

Sooner or later the Queens Dems will have an internal reckoning. You can't keep everyone happy forever.
So let's see:
1. Evan Stavisky lives in Rockland County in a big house with his wife.
2. His wife is the Chairperson of the Rockland County Democrats.
3. Evan says he lives in an empty apartment he owns in Queens so he can run for District Leader there.
4. Evan uses his position as District Leader in Queens to "support" the candidacy of candidates that hire his consulting firm (The Parkside Group)to get the Democratic Party's endorsement.
5. Evan and Parkside have gotten millions of dollars over the years from Democratic Party endorsed candidates who hired Parkside and miraculously get the Queens County Democratic Party endorsement.
5. The District Leaders in Assembly District 26, for example, are Evan Stavisky, his mother Senator Toby Stavisky and former Parkside employee Michael Sais (who is now Chief of Staff for Michael Gianaris who is a Parkside client).
6. No candidate that has hired Parkside has not gotten the Democratic Party endorsement in over a decade.
7. And this isn't "PAY TO PLAY"?

Forcina should run against Evan Stavisky District Leader. Behar and Duane are both independent and not tied to Parkside either.
The Staviskys and Ed Braunstein are in office to line their own pockets and their family's pockets. The 26th AD is fucked!

Looking at the photos of the two Mrs. Stavisky’s I am reminded of an old song: “I want a girl, just like the girl that married dear old dad…..”. How well you’ve succeeded Evan. Such a pearl!!!
Who is Steve Behar?
Behar ran against Braunstein. Smart and honest guy but couldn't raise enough money to combat Braunstein's special interest money. Would have been a breath of fresh air.
Someone should run against that kiss-ass Matt Silversmith.
Behar also ran for city council. The guy runs for everything so yeah he will probably run for district leader and lose that election too.
Anyone not in cahoots with Parkside gets my vote.
Steve Behar cares about the people . He is the purest voice in North Queens.
