"Here's a pic from Thursday's commuter parking lot at Shea Stadium (er, Citifield). We get to pay $4.00 for the privilege to park in this mess each major rainstorm. Doesn't anyone in the Parks Dept care ???" - Jack

I'm getting me one of them newfangled hybrid cars...part auto/part submarine!
Does anyone realize that Shea is built in a SWAMP. The Flushing RIVER is nearby. Let's get all of these geniuses a map so that they can learn where they are building.
When they develop Willets Point, they can save money on the swimming pool for all the units they will build. Hope after everything is built, it all sinks into the swamps.
this is no joke, for us commuters its lot hell! i can't beleive we pay to park around vandalized cars, rats, old pampers and bbq's that having been sitting around since the last game at shea. and when we inquire to clean it up we are told its private property owned by the mets. nice that once the games are over so are the services!

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

Next time you go to a game, bring your swimsuit. You can park and take a dip before the game.
Oops. Sorry. My bad. But I really had to go.
