Pinky plays in the park

Wednesday evening around 7:30pm, Councilman Dennis Gallagher was spotted at Principe Park in Maspeth playing basketball with a team comprised of men half his age. The park is in close proximity to O'Neill's, another Pinky hangout.

Earlier in the day, the NY Post reports that he checked in at City Hall:

He sits on the Finance Committee, but didn't appear at a hearing there.

Apparently, neither can pink men.

I don't think he's going to make the prison team.

Spend more time with your constituents and your family, than with guys half your age. You sleazy bum! And you thought we weren't going to catch you, huh?

"Playing basketball would be more fun if there were some cheerleaders about."

WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS GUY DO ALL DAY BESIDES TRY TO PICK UP WOMEN AND MAKE DEALS WITH DEVELOPERS???

"WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS GUY DO ALL DAY BESIDES TRY TO PICK UP WOMEN AND MAKE DEALS WITH DEVELOPERS???"

Well, today he was having a phone conference with Bubba. Making deals regarding who gets to be on top.

Probably Pinky was choosing colors for the prison basketball team. Perhaps pink for his team?

He also was telling Bubba that he would be the mascot for the Mexican's team. He'd be a pink elf.

Pinky will soon be "playing" in the prison exercise yard.....ahem.....in tighter quarters !

Again your facts are full of crap

Christina, Has he been arested yet. He hasnt so stop the shit. A guy cant play basketball without members of the JCPCA exutive board taking pictures of him.

Anonymous said...

Actually, anonymous, I was not at the park last night representing the JPCA. I was there fulfilling my role as a journalist for the Forum newspaper. The shots will be in next week's South edition. Mr. Gallagher may not be happy with this, but he is a public official in a public arena and if he didn't want his photo taken he should have a) not run for office b) not made headlines these past 2 weeks.

Christina,

Stalking is a federal offense. You've taken things to a point where it is sick and putting it on display for all to see. You are making a joke of yourself. You may want to take a step back and take a good look at youself. You're a grown woman. Get a life and drop the disturbing obsession. Why not go back to the basics when the JVCA did good things for the surrounding areas rather than hide in bushes and take pictures of people. Do you not think that people are making fun of you?

Anonymous said...

I was standing right out on the sidewalk in full view of all persons in the park, not hiding in the bushes. Do you make fun of all reporters who do their job? Some people in the neighborhood have big problems with both freedom of speech and freedom of the press. If they want to make fun of me, I really couldn't care less. They are the real fools.

Anonymous said...

Is hiding behind bushes, which Christina did not do as she explained, any better than hiding behind the pseudoynm "anonymous" and making critical remarks about others that you'd otherwise never have the guts to make?

Anonymous said...

1. You tell me

2. I wouldn't want her to stalk me

HA!

Anonymous said...

Those who defend or support a disturbed man accused of rape are the ones that need to take a good look at themselves

A newspaper editor taking pictures of a public official in a public place is not stalking. Finding out where someone lives and works and then sending intimidating messages is stalking.

Long live the JVCA.

Anonymous said...

hmmm, where's my other message? What a surprise!

If you believe you've been stalked, report it. To the FBI, the NY State Police or to NYPD. Otherwise, shut your blowhole, you lying moron.

When an elected official commits rape, he should expect that the next time he appears in public he will be observed and photographed.

Don't like the rules? Resign now! But appear in any public place, and you will still be observed and photographed.

Only you and your lickspittles are stupid enough to think that (A) we don't know who you are, and (B) we don't know the rules and (C) we actually think that you make the rules.

Submit, dog.

Advice to this moron: go back to spelling and grammar classes.

Return when you are smarter.

I would say that a council member harassing a senior citizen (who also happens to be a constituent) in a public park is far worse than a reporter taking a picture of that same council member playing in the playground with his friends.

Moe said...

How come Gallagher's ass-lickers are so upset about these pictures? This is the closest thing to positive publicity he's had in weeks. Morons.

Anyone in need of a spelling lesson please follow this link.

Band of Brothers
or why
the newspapers undermine the credibility with the public by not keeping the politicians at arms lenght....

Tribune

Rape Scene? Woman allegedly met him. Claimed she was assaulted. Gallagher has been a public servant in myriad capacities … “I was shocked when I first heard [of the investigation],” said GOP boos Raguasa, before acknowledging that “you can’t always believe what you read and hear. I know Dennis to be a decent guy. As far as we’re concerned he’s been a good councilman. We stand behind him.’

Queens Courier

Despite allegations – but no charges – Dennis Gallagher staunchest supporters do not believe the claim. “I’m very skeptical. I don’t think [the victim] is telling the truth. It sounds to me like she’s just somebody who’s trying to cash in on a lawsuit. There’s never been any type of allegation like this against him before.” A man answered the phone at Danny’s Boy‘s denied knowing any information and repudiated ever having seen Gallagher in the establishment. “He is upset by all this adverse publicity and I’m sure he will be vindicated” said Gallagher’s attorney. Calling reports of the attack ‘rumors’ he went on to say “I don’t know where thee claims come from.” City Councilman Addaboo said “There are so many rumors I will not comment.”

Queens Chronicle

Neighbors said they were shocked by news of the incident but warned that it is important not to rush to judgement “Its too early to make any kind of judgment” said “Ralph” and lives just two blocks from Gallagher. “These are just charges, but already the media starts hyping it out of proportion “Lets wait and see how this plays out before we even start judging.” Gallagher is a former investigator for the state’s Crime Victims Board.

Grandma Jones

(to the tune of Basketball Jones)

Grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones
Got a grandma Jones, oh baby, oo-oo-ooo
Yes, I am the victim of a grandma Jones
Ever since I was a little baby, I always be screwin'
In fac', I was de baddest mother in the whole neighborhood
Then one day, I bought me a grandma
And I loved that grandma
I took that grandma with me everywhere I went
That grandma was like a basketball to me
I even put that grandma underneath my beer belly
Maybe that's why I can't sleep at night
I need help, ladies and gentlemens
I need someone to stand beside me
I need, I need someone to set a pick for me at the free-throw line of life
Someone I can pass to
Someone to hit the open woman on the give-and-go
And not end up in the DA machine
So cheerleaders, help me out
{cheerleaders sing repeatedly...}
(grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones)
(I got a grandma Jones, oh baby, oo-oo-ooo)
Oh, that sounds so sweet
Sing it out
C'mon Tom, Bill, sing along with me
That be bad, honky
Yeah I want everybody in the whole stadium to stand up and sing with us
Oh yeah, sing it out like you're proud
All right, everybody watchin' coast-to-coast, sing along with us
Kerri, sing along with us
Gabe & Margaret, sing along with us
Lynda & Rick, don't sing nothin'
Oh, it feels so good
I have one ball I'll go one-on-one against the world, left-handed
I could stuff it from center court with my toes
I could jump on top of her, take off my pants, leave fifteen cents change
I could, I could screw behind my back
I got more moves than Ex-Lax I'm bad
I could screw with my tongue
Here I go down court, try to stop me
You can't stop me 'cause I got a grandma Jones
Here I come
That's my peepee with my eyebrow
Yeah, I could dunk it with my nose
I'm, I'm bad as King Kong, gimme another ball
I'm hot, I'm hot as..., I'm hot as..., I'm hot as... uh
Uh, uh, uh, uh
(grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones, grandma Jones)
(grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones, grandma Jones)
(grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones, grandma Jones)
(grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones, I got a grandma Jones, grandma Jones)

Ragusa says:
"I know Dennis to be a decent guy. As far as we’re concerned he’s been a good councilman. We stand behind him."

Has Ragusa been in prison too? Is that why he stands "behind" Gallagher? Who's "WE" Ragusa? You're on your own.

What a moron! He's a Republican Party leader?

Jump ship friends.

Anonymous said...

Let Pinky get his exercise now !

He'll soon be dancin' to that ole "jail-house rock" when "Bubba" climbs down from his top bunk and "snuggles" up to the former councilman below!

I hope Dennis has got a big stash of cigarettes to buy more gentler treatment than he gave St. Saviour's !

One thing for sure....he's gonna get it in the end !!!

Anonymous said...

What exactly is the story here? Gallagher is playing basketball in the park. And???

Anonymous said...

The story is he looks like a bum, acts like a bum and works like a bum.

Anonymous said...

No the story is that this rapist sexual predator is walking around playing basketball while his victims, of course there are many, are left with the horrible memory of this pigs' attack. That's the story!

Anonymous said...

I heard he scored 27 points. Way to go!

So this is the way grown ups act when they don't get their way. All i'm going to say is WOW. Very adult of you all. I pray for you.

"I pray for you."

No sir, we are Americans exercising our rights to gather, to talk, and to voice our opinions, no matter how innane they may appear to you.

Get used to it. You are going to see a lot more of it.

You wanna pray? Pray for what is going to happen to the clubhouse as this resentment builds and builds.

And finally, pray for our communities while 'tha' bhoys' are still in control.

Thanks for your prayers The Lord knows we all need them.
Lets try this, how about we try being contructive rather then negative. Things turn out better that way for all.
I hope you have a wonderful day! =)

Hey Dennis during your trial all the facts will come out about your attack on this woman.

After the trial you will have a lot of time to play basketball... in the prison courtyard!

Anonymous said...

"Let's get this straight, once and for all. There won't be any more praying going on, not now or ever!"

"I've gotten that cherished St Saviors church of yours out of the way and I'll go on to eliminate every other religious institution throughout the borough."

"If you want to worship somebody from now on, you will worship me, Sir Gallagher!"

"Now quit all this yacketty yacketing, already, and go back to being obedient little citizens."

Anonymous said...

"Anonymous' .........

(sic)"contructive" (constructive?).....better mind your spelling!

"Pinky"was responsible for making this whole situation NEGATIVE !

Tell us how we can have a positive outlook when an alleged crook and rapist is "representing" us ?

Anonymous said...

Sorry for the spelling error....It Happens.....You people are funny. Off to church to pray for you people with nothing better to do then to throw jabs at people. Have a great day. And if possible a life.=)

Can you believe that this disgraceful pig has the ball to show his ugly face in public. Move out of this neighborhood Gallagher, you are now public enemy #1.

I'm greatly disappointed with our council man whom I supported and voted for in my first election as a registered voter. My husband and I trusted him to protect and promote family values, which is why I voted mostly for Republicans. We both feel betrayed. I actually read his newsletters and believed his propaganda. He has now breached that trust and I will never fully trust a politician again. Mr. Gallagher should resign.

take responsibility for their own actions

notice a pattern?

This was posted on the Crapper on July 4th, five days before Councilman Dennis Gallagher's alleged incident in his office with the 52 year old woman... see anything interesting?

http://queenscrap.blogspot.com/2007/07/st-saviours-rally-kicks-off-july.html

Brendan said...

Taxpayer: You expected to see Gallagher at the rally?

He hasn't attended one rally for St. Saviour's or gotten behind any major issue in the communty.
BTW, he did have a rally up the street protesting against a halfway house that was already closed.

While you were at the rally to Save St. Saviour's I suspect that Gallagher was either smoking weed down the railroad tracks, sexually harassing his employees, selling porn over the internet, or cheating on his wife at the Woodhaven House.

Probably all of the above.
