Weiner didn't stop being a perv after resigning

From WPIX:

It was just a matter of time before something surfaced, and today it did. A gossip website quotes a 22-year-old woman as claiming she had a six-month relationship with the disgraced former Congressman who is now running for Mayor. Weiner has warned that more texts and lewd pictures might surface, but the shocker is that the new action occurred after he resigned from Congress in 2011.

The website “The Dirty” contends communications between Weiner and the woman continued as recently as August of last year—well over a year after he left office.

Weiner has acknowledged the new revelations, saying that while some of the assertions are true, others are not. PIX11 will have a full report at 10. Meanwhile, two of his Democratic opponents, Bill DeBlasio and Sal Albanese have called on Weiner to withdraw from the campaign. De Blasio said simply, “Enough is enough.”

Weiner was a lame congressman well before scandal

From the NY Times:

In 12 ½ years in Congress, he sponsored and wrote only one bill that he steered to enactment: a measure pushed by a family friend who gave his campaigns tens of thousands of dollars in donations.

To his admirers, Anthony Weiner was a tireless spokesman for an endlessly changing array of issues in the House. But offstage, those who worked alongside him say, Mr. Weiner was a lawmaker with little patience for making laws and a single-minded focus on generating attention so he could run for mayor of New York.

He earned admiration for his devotion to his constituents. He inspired aides with his quick grasp of difficult subjects, his relentless pace and his office catchphrase: “We don’t wait.” And he impressed local officials with his shrewd use of the machinery of the federal government.

Yet the more lasting impression left by Mr. Weiner, according to more than three dozen people interviewed, was of a go-it-alone politician whose legislative record was thin and whose restlessness could spill into recklessness. He smartly selected issues on which to weigh in but left the difficult legislating to others, they said.

Things haven't changed much. Now he's talking about bowling alleys and defending his tweeder wife from an investigation.

Welcoming the Weiner child

From the NY Post:

After a year filled with ridicule and scandal, disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner finally has something he can feel proud about — a new baby boy.

Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, gave birth to the wee Democrat yesterday, 10 days before the New Year’s Eve due date, The Post has learned. Jordan Zain Weiner checked in at 7 lbs. 5.8 oz, a source said.

Weiner emailed friends yesterday announcing the arrival of their "sparkling wonder."

Now he'll have another little Weiner to play with!

What Weiner's up to lately

From the NY Times:

But what exactly does Mr. Weiner have going on? Certainly he has not cut all ties to his political life. Recently released federal election records show that he had used campaign funds not only for travel since leaving office, but also for meals at two New York restaurants: Shun Lee Palace and Zengo. Ms. Heller, the spokeswoman for Mr. Weiner, declined to comment on whether Mr. Weiner was present at the meals.

In addition, Mr. Weiner has been hired by some clients as a legislative consultant, according to a person close to the Weiners who had discussed it with them but declined to be named. “He’s using his Rolodex to consult,” the person said. In September, Mr. Weiner accompanied executives of an energy company to an “introductory meeting” with a loan officer at the Export-Import Bank of the United States based in Washington, D.C., according to Maura Policelli, a bank spokeswoman. She said she was unaware of Mr. Weiner’s relationship to the executives.

Finding work in the wake of the scandal has been difficult and even slightly humbling for Mr. Weiner. Several months ago, he approached a prominent New York businessman and Democratic donor about going to work for his firm. But the businessman turned Mr. Weiner away, saying that bringing him on board would draw unflattering attention to him and his business, said a senior Democrat with direct knowledge of the episode.

Weiner is leaving the building

From the NY Post:

Anthony Weiner's Forest Hills co-op, his sexting headquarters, has found a buyer, according to Madeleine Realty. At the height of the scandal in June, Weiner and his pregnant wife Huma Abedin quickly pulled their two-bedroom apartment off the market, but quietly kept it up for sale.

Sources say they've been looking at apartments outside of the ex-congressman's Queens and Brooklyn district. The randy former politician and his wife are hunting for a larger space for their growing family.

Weiner decides to bow out

From the NY Times:

Representative Anthony D. Weiner has told friends that he plans to resign his seat after coming under growing pressure from his Democratic colleagues to leave the House, said a person told of Mr. Weiner’s plans.

Mr. Weiner, a Democrat, came to the conclusion that he could no longer serve after having long discussions with his wife, Huma Abedin, when she returned home on Tuesday after traveling abroad with her boss, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse

From the NY Times:

Their marriage has become the subject of intense speculation and scrutiny amid an embarrassing online sex scandal.

Now, Representative Anthony D. Weiner and Huma Abedin are about to make news of a different kind: they are expecting their first child.

Ms. Abedin, 35, is in the early stages of pregnancy, according to three people with knowledge of the situation.

The pregnancy, which the couple has disclosed to close friends and family, adds a new dimension to questions about the future of their marriage.

And a picture of his naked package was also revealed today.

Weiner leaving Forest Hills?

Reader sent in this tip:

Here Mr. Weiner is posing with his "pussys". Take a look at the brown one.

Now take a look at this photo from MLSLI.com. That same cat is in this bedroom photo, which also contains pillows with the initials "H" (Huma) and "A" (Anthony). Together, they spell "HA" which is exactly what a lot of people said yesterday during his press conference.

Try to look past the disturbing naked torso in the foreground and notice the background.

Here is the same room sans photos.

Yep, the pad in Forest Hills is on the block.

Weiner to wed next weekend

From the Washington Post:

...first up: a celebration of the upcoming marriage of Rep. Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin, Hillary's longtime personal aide.

The Clintons hosted a garden party Wednesday night at their Embassy Row home with more than 300 people, a sumptuous buffet of Mideastern food and a sign with the couple's wedding date, "7-10-10," near the pool.

"I have one daughter," said the former president, pulling Chelsea into a hug. "But if I had a second daughter, it would Huma."

The striking brunette, 34, has been working as Hillary's right hand since 1996, and at her side through the Senate and presidential campaigns and move to the State Department last year. Abedin quietly started dating Weiner, 45, two years ago, and they announced their engagement last summer.

It was "love at first sight" for Weiner, Hillary told the crowd Wednesday. The Clintons encouraged the match between the Muslim beauty who grew up in Saudi Arabia and the Jewish Democrat from New York City. The couple represents, Bill said in his toast, what he wants "the future of the world to be."
