Uber has some competition!

"I saw this ad while walking up 34th ave around 105th street in Corona, Queens. I'm pretty sure this type of cab service is illegal. Its worth looking into..." - anonymous

I think this qualifies as fourth-world-- well beyond the "third-world" classification of crap!

Next step will be Kramer pulling the rickshaw.

Calling BS on this one.

Really, this is what this borough has been reduced to. And someone is going to wear some dirty helmet worn by someone else and considering the hygiene of some of the folks in this borough, really.

I guess some of the young hipster types might fined this "cool", but are there any hipster types in Queens.

This was something that started in the Dominican Republic and I am sure riding on a scooter would be a good way to get around, but here in Queens with the crazy drivers and shit.

Every time I think Queens and this city cannot go any lower, it surprises me by showing me that there is an never ending bottom to this crap barrel.

Renting out your apartment to total strangers on Airbnb, living in a 250sq ft shoebox studio, sharing bathrooms in some places, renting out a van to stay in. You call this quality of life living. What the fuck has happened.

Yeah, get me the hell out of here.

Thier website is full of grammar and spelling errors. IF this is even legit you evidently get on the back of someone's scooter. Good luck placing your life in their hands! Highly doubt they have required insurance.
App says "download the app and enter your credit card info - we do not accept cash" Yeah, this sounds legit. Can you say "Identity theft"?

If it's not a joke it's probably some dicknose with a pedicab or pedicabs, trying to cash in on the walking dead tourist influx by adding some unique international transport.

I'll charge you a quarter of the price of uber and half the price of the scooter taxi to ride on the pegs of my BMX.

I just had dinner with an American who is currently living in Sao Paulo , Brazil.
I learned that conditions there, in some areas, make Flushing or Codona look like paradise.
I think we have all become spoiled Americanos not appreciating our own country....granted....with some faults.
Would you rather be in Syria?

We keep hearing about third world Queens.
Few of us fat , well off Gringos have ever been to a real dangerous third world country.
Yes, Queens is not Queens of the 1960s....so the old folks are unhappy.
Try living where it really sucks some place else on the globe.

The point is, last two Anonymouses, is that people do not wish Queens to be like Syria or any other 3rd World place but it is rapidly becoming so. Terrible government policies over the last 50 years will have much of Queens just as bad as any 3rd World country in less than 50 more years.

Rickshaws are legal, so why not this?

People are whining about Uber, here's the Uber-killer you've been hoping for.

I get it now. Other countries are shit holes so I should be happy to live with a little less "Crap" ! Not...

"Terrible government policies over the last 50 years" like airplane noise and pollution.
Has any one on this blog notice the increase in jets flying over North-East Queens. And if you did what have you done to protest it. I submit a online complaint with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey’s airport noise complaint system almost daily to have my voice heard by having the complaint recorded for the new Part 150 study. Read more about Jet noise on Queens Quiet Skies here http://queensquietskies.org/

Ridgewood,Glendale (lot of web based shows are produced here, including the incendiary and awful Blacklist),Rockaway Beach between 88 and 105, and believe or not I have seen some in the what is considered the colon of Queens, richmond hill and south ozone park. But I think they got on the wrong A train or were looking for some Airbnb lodging. Yes, scumbag landlords are doing it here too, even in unhip towns.

I would'n't use any of these services. Who knows what pervert or criminal might wind up being my driver?

Rickshaws are legal but in certain parts of 'Money making Manhattan'. This is obviously some underground business that works off the books, pays no extra taxes and has no insurance. Why risk your life for a dollar or two?? Their website lists no physical address and has no link to where you can find corporate / investor information. It could be funded by organized crimeThe Taxi & Limousine Commission, Dept of Transportation need to investigate this...

i seen this in DR and i think they also have it in Puerto Rico. Too many people die in accidents. Definitely not for me. I rather walk.
