From WCBS 880:
Did you pay your tax bill in full? If you didn't, you may find yourself on New York State's site of shame for tax dodgers.
The searchable database will list the top 250 delinquent individuals and the top 250 delinquent businesses.
WCBS 880 spoke with Assemblymember William Colton (D-Brooklyn) who helped organize the launch of the site and says this can save the state billions of dollars.
At a time when the state is facing a severe budget crisis, Colton says getting the taxes collected could help keep schools and hospitals open.
