Queens (Crap) Boulevard

Queens Boulevard and Thomson Avenue - It's too tall, it's right next to the 7 train, a stone's throw from the Queensboro Bridge on/off ramps, Sunnyside Trainyard and LIRR tracks and wedged between two of the busiest streets in the borough. It also has close to no open space. The builder apparently ran out of one color brick, so they finished it with another color. Not sure if this one is residential or commercial, but it would make a nice jail!

Let's not be too hard on the builder of this Boulevard "Krap-Haus". I do love that Neo Grecco-Roman pediment that breaks the roof-line! It, somewhat, softens the severity of the design. Please excuse me. Did I say "design"? Shoot me!......VERDI

Yet another example of poor planning.

I guess this is what happens when City Planning, instead of doing what they are supposed to, simply spend time sheparding developers paperwork through the city goverment.
