This is a great way to solve the housing crisis.
If it works for the American and European Land Thieves in the West Bank, it can work in Flushing Queens.

Squatters in the United States will spread like a wild fire this year.

Seems most of these landlords with squatter problem have 2 common issues.
The squatter claims he was doing work and wants to be paid.
The new owner had a neighbor, agent or relative next door, yet the new owner KNOWS NOTHING how this happened?
Could it be many of these new landlords are house flipper/speculator scum who actually never move into the homes and foreclosures they buy. Only looking to do some so called "updates" with the cheapest materials & labor possible then re-flip the home never sleeping in it one night.
It seems this squatter is the typical professional Irish & Scottish tinker Gypsy, these shits will lowball a bid on work to get a foot in the door then squat, turn the place into an air-bnb or flophouse and pocket the money.
If this woman (the home buyer) was the typical scumbag speculator, real estate person or house flipper it serves her right. I have no sympathy for her.
Professional squatters who know the system need to be dealt with using alternate methods, forget about calling the cops or asking the courts. Calling the cops VS calling a specialized crew to give the squatter a talking to was the biggest mistake this woman made.
The 2nd big mistake was leaving the mailbox available and open and not having the post office re-direct all mail, and that's good for up to around 30 days with options to pay for more time or like services including online scans and pictures of all mail going to the address and what you can reject via online.
Now each of these squatter's have a case and full police report against the new buyer/landlord. She will now be extorted for cash settlements or face years in court
I had a problem like this in Ridgewood and knew I could not use the cops or useless waste of time $$$ lawyers & courts.
Civil courts and judges are all bleeding heart liberals like most young people today who consider all landlords wealthy greedy scum who can afford to carry deadbeats, squatters, homeless and assorted scum for 30+ months.
Squatter rights is insane, in Georgia the sheriffs & cops come with guns. Squatters get 2 minutes to grab their stuff and get out (or thrown out, arrested or shot at 121 seconds.
Residential or commercial, If you didn't pay rent on a legal lease or your name isn't on the deed and tax base your OUT!
No squatter rights or 30 day automatic rights bullshit in states like Georgia

There should be no statute of limitations on when a homeowner can get a squatter out of their house. Breaking and entering doesn't change after a month.

First they came after soda, cookies, private owned cars & trucks, then pizza ovens, now its private homeowners and its being done on the sneak.
This new mandate (the governor likes) is on the table to destroy small homeowners.
It mandates all small homes must be disconnected from gas and convert to electric heat pumps. (old large apt buildings over 7 story's are exempt)
And this scheme offers no federal or state aid its 100% on the homeowner and its being passed off as a great thing to save homeowners money.
Well I have the Brooklyn Bridge for sale for $100, it comes with a permit for toll scanners!
Do you know what electric heat is going to cost home owners, on top of the perhaps $75,000 for equipment and electric wiring? Worse what will happen in winter if a terrorist or cyber attack takes out the electric grid?
A large percentage of the public are sheep who have no clue and will think its great, that's usually all your democrat voters and assorted people who don't own homes.
