Every sink hole I see DOT's solution is to throw asphalt on it. Its sinks again a few weeks later more asphalt, months later, more asphalt, years later, more asphalt. They never fix the problem and it keeps happening. I still see the same sink holes still sinking down for the past 30 years that are never properly fixed, its utterly amazing.
Every other jurisdiction I see that has sink holes they open the road, fix the issue, and properly pave it back over and the problem is solved.
